This really is such a wonderful place to stay, we went as guests but were made to feel like we were visiting friends. Sharon and John were so accommodating and gave us loads of ideas on places to visit. The breakfast was perfect, it was the best scrambled egg I've ever tasted. The view across Lee river from our room was amazing. The bed was super comfy and rooms were perfect temperature. The décor was so fitting for a manor house, every picture told a story. Love, love, love this place ❤️

Only just saw the sign at the end of the road as nearly covered by tree branches. As we pull up outside thought this is not it, this looks like a small factory unit. Once round by the beautiful view of the river we found the entrance. This is a very large and strange house. Some of it old with character some just odd. Staff all friendly and food average. Toilet system broken grab rail at wrong end of bath? After sitting on the chair I carefully got up as it was just about to collapse on me. This house has a lot of potential.

This is a lovely guest house. Big and spacious. The views are gorgeous. The lady at reception was lovely to deal with with all COVID measures in place. Would definitely stay again when restrictions are lifted.

Tired and hungry from a day of traveling, we were referred to this B and B from a popular hotel in downtown Macroom that had 0 vacancy. Rooms were small, but cozy, featuring colonial style furniture that reeked of historical significance. Another place in time. Our reception was warm and friendly, Miss Bernie was also the cook and bartender. Food was awesome, the Guinness cold. Full Irish breakfast next morning outstanding and good for the soul. Thank you Miss Bernie, we'll see you on our next adventure.

Could be one of the oldest places I’ve ever stayed in, felt like I was living in a different time period. it was well kept and had an absolutely fabulous breakfast. There was a little bit of a musty smell but I got used to it after a few minutes

It's a lovely old house with a very interesting history, right on the River Lee. The grounds and house are very nice, and there's a tiny pub for a drink or a light meal. It's a fair walk from Macroom if you don't have a vehicle, but worth it. Bernie is lovely, and I would gladly stay here again. Thanks Bernie, I really enjoyed my stay, and meeting you.

Myself and the GF stayed here fir 1 night and had a pleasant stay. The place is just on river is nice and parts are like a step back in time. But that's the vibe they go for and pull it off. They've a bar and all which is cool. Rooms warm and clean. Nice stop off.
