We spent two nights with Eithne and Gerry and cannot praise them highly enough. From the warm welcome when we arrived to our departure, when Gerry fixed a dent in my car, they were superb hosts and good company. They provide an excellent breakfast and even if you don't smoke do go and check out the hideaway at the back,...

Although we have stayed in many B&B's, Castle Lodge will be one of the best on our list. The rooms was very comfortable, breakfast - to order no less - was awesome - and the hospitality was beyond expectations! We enjoyed three wonderful days in the Malahide / Port Marnock area - including a day in Dublin proper - and...

This is a faboulous place. We arrived quite early in the morning and while waiting for the room to be ready, ours hosts offered us coffe, tea, orange juice for our child and some cookies. The room was very nice, well decorated, clean and confortable. The area is very quiet so we slept very well. Malahide castle is very close...

We were so fortunate to have found & stayed at Castle Lodge B&B in Malahide, County Dublin. In addition to Jerry & Eithne, our wonderful hosts, we felt at home [so friendly, warm & welcoming], and the location was ideal: very convenient to the Dublin airport. Jerry & Eithne are tops when it comes to suggestions for places to eat,...

I learned about Castle Lodge thru Trip Advisor and am so glad I did. Eithne & Gerry are wonderful hosts. It is immaculate. Gerry sings and tells jokes while they prepare a delicious breakfast. It is a 5 minute walk into Malahide --as we did not have a car, this was great. The Rafferty's could not do enough to make...

You feel at home and welcome there. 10 - 15 min walk from the station (there is no bus to the b & b), small room, but spacious and comfy living room. 20 min walk to the castle. I recommend the fish shack in town, and a bike trip to Howth. I did this in half a day and then...

Malahide is a very pretty little coastal town, and the Castle Lodge is a great choice for accommodation. We had a nice family room with a private bath. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast delicious. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits as soon as soon as we got there. It was an easy walk into the center of...

Just had one night to spend at the end of our European vacation. Our hosts were very kind and welcoming. Mrs. Rafferty came out into the rain to get us in town and Gerry made us feel right at home. After a long day of travel this was a perfect reception. Wish we had more time to spend in this...
