Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Monica and Pat are absolutely lovely hosts 😊 Their B&B is very homely and welcoming. It was lovely to chat with them and they always checked to see do we need anything. Monica is also a wonderful cook and cooked a fabulous irish breakfast ❤️ The location is very close to Malahide castle and the grounds are beautiful. Our room was very clean, tidy and the bathroom was spotless. Highly recommend staying here. For other concerts in Malahide we will definitely be staying here 😁 Truly lovely, honest and reliable people ❤️ Thank you so much for having us (if you are reading this) really enjoyed our stay 👌😊 xx

We stayed here for a total of 3 days during our trip to Ireland. The place is great, the rooms are large and clean! We were literally 10 minutes from the airport and a short bus ride to downtown Dublin (Pat and his wife gave us the bus schedule). Malahide is just up the road for some delicious dinner destinations as well. There wasn't breakfast due to covid (which is understandable). Getting out on the main road at certain times of the day could be difficult, but that's a price you pay for convenience.

Just stayed here for a couple of days. We were a bit disappointed. Not exactly what I expected from the photos on the website. The positives...Pat and his wife were very nice, the bed was quite comfy, it's close to the airport and to the bus line going into Dublin. The negatives...being close to the airport, we heard a lot of planes. There is no air conditioning, so, if you want some cool air, the window must be open, and you are going to hear planes all night. The furnishings (furniture, carpet, bedding, linens, etc) are quite old....probably about 30+ years old. My husband and I are both seniors, and these things reminded me of things my parents would have had in the 1960s. It was difficult to see that from the photos on their website. If you're not driving, you must rely on the buses. Takes about 30 minutes to get into Dublin, you must have exact change in coins for the bus, so, be prepared with the coins. The fare was 3.30 euros each way. There is nothing close by for dining (within what I would consider walking distance...1 or 2 miles), so, again, if you do not have a vehicle available... this is probably not the place for you.

Excellent accommodation. Easy drive and only minutes from the airport. We didn't hear any noise from the landing aircraft and slept extremely well on comfy beds. The room was clean and bright. Excellent value as the cost is really reasonable. Patrick couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. He is an excellent host and serves a great hot full breakfast with a smile. He gave great advise on where to eat at the nearby town of Malahide only minutes away. The town itself is worth visiting with a slew of restaurants and bars all within walking distance from the harbor. I will definitely stay at Pebble Mill again if in the area and fully recommend it highly. Thanks Patrick for providing us with a restful stopover before our long journey home.

We were looking for a room close to the airport and found the Pebble Mill B&B. It is in a very calm surrounding, yet only 10 minutes from the airport. The owners are very friendly and gave us great advice what to visit and how to spend our last day in the best way. Can definitely recommend it!

We have never before stayed at a B&B but reserved here on a friends recommendation. We are so glad we did. The house is very nice with lots of charm and a beautiful stained glass window in the dining room. The room was comfortable and the price reasonable. Excellent bus service right to downtown Dublin. Best of all we’re the hosts- so helpful, pleads and friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them. And the lady of the house makes a beautiful breakfast. Even my super picky son enjoyed it and has compared every other breakfast on the trip and found them lacking! Great place to stay, highly recommended.

My friend and I stayed here in June and had a nice experience staying here. We left early one morning before breakfast and they made us sandwiches for the road sine we would be missing breakfast. The room was simple and had just what we needed including tea and coffee. On the day we were leaving we were going to take a taxi to the airport and they offered to drive us which just the nicest thing. So overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend
