Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely spacious family rooms. Breakfast service is a bit haphazard and buffet food on the second morning was dry and overcooked but it was busy. Our inclusive dinner was really good with friendly young staff and a lovely menu for a hotel dinner, much more offered than usual, steaks were huge and cooked perfectly. Lovely bar and reception area to sit and chill. Kids loved the games room. All the staff very pleasant and friendly. Only docked a star because no AC or ventilation in a very stuffy room and the pillows have long past reached their peak. So lumpy and uncomfortable. Would stay again though.

We got to celebrate our wedding on the 13th August in the Diamond Coast Hotel. We would like to thank all the staff at the Diamond Coast for all their help and kindness before and during our stay. We would like to thank our wedding coordinator Mary Clarke for all her help and guidence in preparing for our day. To all the waiters at our wedding dinner thank you for a amazing service. Mary was great to deal with and nothing was too much to ask. We really appreciate how much you listened to what we wanted and how everything was perfect on the day. The Bridal suite was incredible very spacious and the most amazing view to wake up to. The food was beautiful from our wedding dinner to the breakfast, lots of great reports back from guests about how much they enjoyed it and how there was no lack of food at our meal either!! We cant wait to return for another visit and thank you all again in person! From the new Mr & Mrs McKeon❤️

We celebrated our wedding day on the 12th August and had our reception in the Diamond Coast Hotel. I want to start this review by thanking all the Diamond Coast staff for their help and kindness before and during our stay, in particular, Mary our wedding coordinator, Mladen and Andy the managers on duty, Tommy one of the waiters at our wedding dinner, I believe he was an absolute gent and very good to our guests! Mary was great to deal with and nothing was too much to ask. We really appreciate how much you listened to what we wanted and how everything was perfect on the day. Andy also took care of all our special items that were dotted around the hotel that day and made sure they were kept safe for us. We also loved the staff photo in our guestbook!! Our room was incredible and it was lovely to have the 2 days there to really enjoy it. Our kids had a bubble bath in the jacuzzi too, and now are asking us to buy one for at home! The food throughout the weekend was beautiful, lots of great reports back from guests about how much they enjoyed it and how there was no lack of food at our meal either!! We cant wait to return for another visit and thank you all again in person! From the newlyweds!❤️

Our first time to stay in the Diamond Coast Hotel and it was a Fabulous hotel, staff were lovely and helpful. Room was spotless and perfect size for our family of 2 adults 4 children. Breakfast was lovely, massive choice and fresh food put out every few minutes unlike some other hotels we've stayed in. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 4 nights in the hotel family room, 6 in total. The kids loved the kids club and the staff in the kids club were very nice. Food was good also. Location is great, 15mins walk to the beach.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and close to the beach. Food was delicious. We had dinner in the Stir Bistro and couldn't fault either staff or food. We had a family room which had bunk beds so plenty room for everyone.

Brilliant and beautiful. Staff were friendly and one women helped us change rooms which shows that the staff care about visitors.wish I could have stayed longer. Breakfast was great! Only bad thing was the water but that was only cause I'm not used to Sligo water:) also near the beach. You should go there.

Nice friendly staff in a smart, clean, spacious hotel made this a relaxed family stay. Get up early for breakfast since it gets quite crowded later. We had dinner twice in the bistro - very reasonable prices for food that our group rated good to really good! Just a short walk to the town and stunning beach - it helped to have incredible sunny weather, but Enniscrone beach is amazing no matter the conditions. Warmly recommended!

There were many team members who contributed to our important four day family celebration, however if we were to name one highlight it would be Jacky/ Jacqui and her team in the main dining room. There was 100% dedication shown to care and quality.

This hotel is fantastic. Having a vegan/vegetarian food menu with lots of options was very accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable and had a wonderful view of the golf course. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends and would love to return in the future.
