Detailed Reviews
We’ve just had a fantastic week in Enniscrone staying In one of these self-catering houses. The location couldn’t be closer to the beach, playground, mini golf and the Main Street. We were able to go straight from the sea to the shower. Even though we were so close to a busy area the house was very sound-proofed and we couldn’t even hear our neighbours. It’s a real home away from home where we could have a nice homemade meal and a lovely fire at night. Very easy to keep socially distant here.

We stayed here before in the self catering cottage a little more than 5 years ago, and returned for a short break over Halloween. Lovely to say the high standards have been maintained ad this time we decided to have breakfast in the B&B on the morning we checked out and it was just legendary! Will definitely have to return just to experience that! Well done to Jim and all the friendly staff, I love Enniscrone and staying here. Will be back!

Booked 2 beach houses for our family over 6 months ago, my card details were taken and when I requested an email confirmation I was informed they don't do email but was assured my booking was confirmed and was "in the book" and to take their word. I rang by chance to request a baby chair only to be told they had no record of my booking and could not recall any details and nothing could be done. Very unprofessional, no apology and zero communication. Its unacceptable to run a business in this day and age with no communication. Now 2 families are left with no holiday and no chance of arranging alternative accommodation now. Disgraceful.

The self-catering holiday homes offered by Jim O’Reagan are a home from home. They offer all the comforts of modern living — WiFi, TV, washer/drier, dishwasher etc but also central heating which is an essential considering the inclemencies of the Irish weather. They also have open fires for the extra cosy experience..The house is clean, comfortable and come fully supplied with bed linen and towels. The bedrooms have en-suites and are airy and bright, the front facing bedroom having a view of the beach.
There is private parking and the central location in the heart of Enniscrone makes it perfect for enjoying the fantastic beach and the activities on offer and the pubs and restaurants to be had in the village.
Our host made us feel extremely welcome and this was our third stay with Jim, his guests couldn’t speak highly enough of him and of his professionalism and, at the same time, personal touch.
Keep well Jim, see you next year. Repeat custom says it all!

The rooms are always spotlessly clean, the warm welcome is always appreciated after a long drive.
Breakfast is delicious, full Irish will keep you going all day. Beautiful brown bread and a big pot of tea. Or coffee if you prefer.
Bedrooms always very comfortable and we sleep so well.
Looking forward to booking again

This is a lovely BnB in a beautiful location no more than three minutes walk from the most stunning beach. Our room had an excellent sea view which we chose over more space and were very happy with. Jim the owner cares a lot about whether his guests have a good experience and he came in for a nice chat with us when we were relaxing in the cosy living room. And if you like toast as much as my boyfriend does, you get an enormous PILE of it at breakfast! My only criticism would be that on both mornings I asked for there to be no bread on my plate (I can't eat it) and even though I really stressed this, both times my eggs appeared served on bread and covered in crumbs so that I couldn't eat them. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay with a lovely owner!

Room Tip: If space is your priority, don't ask for a sea view as some sea view rooms are smaller.

This is the second year we stayed at Jim O'Regan's self catering homes situated almost on the beach in Enniscrone. The house was extremely comfortable and well furnished with absolutely everything a family would need for a holiday in Ireland from washer/drier to dishwasher and Central heating and our host Jim couldn't do enough to ensure that our stay was perfect.
We will definitely be back for another visit!
