Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked 2 beach houses for our family over 6 months ago, my card details were taken and when I requested an email confirmation I was informed they don't do email but was assured my booking was confirmed and was "in the book" and to take their word. I rang by chance to request a baby chair only to be told they had no record of my booking and could not recall any details and nothing could be done. Very unprofessional, no apology and zero communication. Its unacceptable to run a business in this day and age with no communication. Now 2 families are left with no holiday and no chance of arranging alternative accommodation now. Disgraceful.

We’ve just had a fantastic week in Enniscrone staying In one of these self-catering houses. The location couldn’t be closer to the beach, playground, mini golf and the Main Street. We were able to go straight from the sea to the shower. Even though we were so close to a busy area the house was very sound-proofed and we couldn’t even hear our neighbours. It’s a real home away from home where we could have a nice homemade meal and a lovely fire at night. Very easy to keep socially distant here.

We just returned from Sligo with the family and stayed here again. As usual the B&B was very clean and comfortable. They have the best Irish breakfast and it's in a great location right on the beach ( not that we went in the water in February). I always recommend family here if they are in the area. The owner, Jim, is a wealth of knowledge to boot.....

We stayed here as we were attending a family wedding nearby. The place was perfect for us: just what we were after. The location was perfect and the family room was ideal. The host and the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was first rate. Good parking and within reach of all the local amenities.

Staying here was a fine experience and it felt as warm as staying in someone's home. The breakfast is delicious and filling and the location is right in the heart of town. The owner Jim is always on-site and is a friendly gentleman.

I visited this guest house with a friend. We made a spur of the moment decision to see if we could get a stay in a B and B but didn't think we would find anything suitable. We found this wonderful place surprisingly quickly. We each had a room, both with wonderful views of the sea. The rooms were perfect, clean and very comfortable and nicely and freshly decorated. All was perfect including the fantastic Irish breakfast which included a bowl of freshly cut fruit. Highly recommended. We will be back!

From the moment we arrived we were treated like valued guests. The place is spotless and the location is ideal... walking distance to everything we wanted to do and the staff were amazing, gracious and professional. We will definitely return for a full Irish fry before a day in the sea. A special thank you to Jim- we look forward to seeing you again soon :) Martha and Matthieu

We stayed here in May 2019 for one night. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Jim is a warm, hospitable, kind and very charming gentleman. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting him, and he is by far one of the reasons we would return. His home is immaculately maintained, spotlessly clean, and very cozy. Our room was very large and functional, overlooking the main street. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast was outstanding, the surroundings beautiful. We cannot recommend Jim and his beautiful home enough! We look forward to returning again and staying for a much longer period. We would not look to stay anywhere else in Enniscrone and can understand why Jim has so many loyal, returning guests. Thank you so much Jim, we are so grateful. Mary and Christine.
