We were two friends surfing for the first time, and we totally loved it! Great and friendly lodge, and lovely staff. We had two lessons and the instructors have been (very) patient and funny. We had a very good time and we will definitely be back! Hands down to Rob who made us laugh a lot!

Started out with surf lessons as a birthday present with Anthony & Fiona. A bit of tough love at the start but we got there in the end! Have stayed in the lodge on a couple of occasions and everything is great, but it is really about the people! Everybody is really friendly and they always remember you! We were totally bitten by the bug and keep going back for visits. We have knocked across Anthony on the beach many times since and he always has a chat with us. Bought our boards and bits from Josh again just a genuine friendliness that is effortless and great advice. Had an issue with the back fin on my board and problem sorted in an unbelievable way by Josh & Aidan! Just calling in to the shop the other instructors get to know you and always recognise you when you come back. They have created lifetime customers in both of us and we have and will continue to recommend Surf Co to everyone and anyone we meet. 100% to be trusted. Thanks again to everyone as you have created and continue to create great memories for both of us!

This is an excellent hostel! So clean and tidy. Staff are incredibly nice and helpful! Would definitely return to this accommodation. 24/7 access and you can rent surf boards out if you so like. Even get lessons!

We went as a sports group to do multi activity weekend and surf. The lodge is really nice and I was surprised how good the bedrooms were as I was expecting bunk style rooms. But we had proper beds and they were so comfy. Slept really well. All the staff were great and Laurence who drove the mini bus was so helpful and friendly. Great range of activities on offer as well as surfing. We hired bikes and went paddleboarding to enjoy the most of the local area. Although I didn't surf because of injusy I heard no complaints from my friends about the standard of the setsuits and the boards and they looked ok to me. It was may and cold and most people said they were warm enough with a good quality rash vest under their suit. If I had one minor comment at times the organisation may have been a tad laid back but it didn't bother me one bit. So don't expect things to run to time but if you're up for a relaxed surf weekend this is your place.
