Breakfast was fantastic. Karen provided an amazingly tasty and aesthetically pleasing serving of fruit and yogurt with a wee drizzle of honey on top, followed by a huge Irish breakfast beautifully cooked and lovely strong tea. Such a beautiful and friendly place. Bedroom and bathroom nothing short of luxurious. The rooms are gorgeous, this accommodation is of a hotel standard.

We had a great stay at Elm Brook B&B. Our plan was to visit areas from Sligo through the Sleive League cliffs north of Donegal and so we split the difference by choosing this property in Ballyshannon. Karen was a great source of local information and provided clean comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast. The location is quiet and relaxed even though its only 2 blocks from the main down town. I liked the front yard and especially the sound of the creek flowing by. Hope to return again one day to see everthing we missed this time in this beautiful area of Ireland.

Visited the Elm Brook for 3 nights on my visit to Ballyshannon. We were immediately welcomed into their home and Karen was very accommodating to our needs. The breakfasts are plentiful and will keep you full for hours. The inn is within walking distance of downtown Ballyshannon. Would definitely stay again.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here twice and both time was extremely pleased about our experience. Karen is an excellent host with spot on suggestions for food and sight seeing. Our room was large, bright and spotleas. The location could not have been better, easy to locate off the roadway and an easy walk into the town center. Breakfast was top notch. I recommend you stay here on your next visit to the area.

This was our first trip back to Ireland since 2014 and we have stayed with Karen and Martin twice before. We always enjoy seeing them. As always, the B&B was spotless and the breakfast top class. The B&B is located within easy walking distance of downtown shopping and places to eat. Always our go to when in the Ballyshannon area.

A room became available for us following a cancellation and we hit the jackpot! Really friendly host family, seriously comfy beds and a great location. Breakfast was excellent enjoyed with other guests who were all on first name terms, obviously when you stay here once you become a repeat guest. Can't recommend highly enough

We enjoyed our night at Elmbrook BnB. We checked in last minute Karen was friendly and easy to deal with the room was clean spacious and a very comfy bed. The house is older so walls are thin...some other guests were loud and we heard every word they said! The breakfast made up for that though! Homemade and full Irish if you could eat it all! Very nice stay at a reasonable price. Great wifi too!

Karen was an awesome host. She called around to find us a place to eat when our planned restaurant wasn't open. The room was spacious, nice view, very clean. We had to run out in the morning and couldn't eat breakfast but she gave us some delicious fresh fruit, yogurt and crescents. The location isn't on a city feeling street which is great in our book, plenty of parking.
