Came down to the hotel to get dinner. We hadn't booked and they couldn't fit us in. No problem, totally understand that. We decided to stay for a few drinks and enjoy the stunning view at the front of the hotel. Staff were very friendly, drinks were lovely. BUT we spent around €80 on drinks over the evening and were not allowed to use the hotel toilets due to covid. We had to use the outdoor loos provided for swimmers etc. Paying by card we were told we could not create a tab but the WiFi didn't work outside so they were very particular about the procedure: order drinks, wait for them to arrive, then go inside to use the card machine. At which point several staff members seemed obliged to stop us and explain non guests were not allowed inside. At this point we realised all the food was coming out in take away boxes (I wouldn't have been impressed if I had a booking). Queried with the waitress why the drinks tables couldn't order something if it was all take away but she just responded 'sorry fully booked'. Found it a bit confusing that the hotel was in no way willing to go out of their way for paying customers, especially after the difficult 18 months the hospitality industry has gone through.

Stayed 2 nights first week open after covid lockdown. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little small and maybe need an update but with such a beautiful setting who does any more than sleep in their room. Bed was so comfy we both slept really well.
The breakfast was table service but selection was still excellent. With a beautiful sea view.
We had dinner both nights salmon & prawn tagliatelle was amazing. Missed out on lunch as we hadn’t booked so in future will definitely book.
There seems to be pier fishing for those interested in it. No license or permit needed. Scenery in the area is beautiful we were lucky to see a beautiful sunset over to sea during our stay.
We were unable to sit at the bar due to restrictions but the staff looked after all of our requests for service.
All of the current guidelines were adhered to.
If you looking a fancy room then Creevy pier is not for you.
If you want beautiful scenery fantastic food and friendly staff then it’s exactly what your after. Book your table for food as it does get busy.
We loved it we have booked for 3 nights next time.

Thank goodness for Keith and all staff at the Creevy Pier. In late September 2020, 5 days before our already postponed wedding, two venues cancelled on us due to our small numbers. COVID restrictions at the time only allowed for 25 guests, which was not financially feasible for larger venues. We contacted Keith in a panic, who immediately responded (after thoroughly checking out all covid safety guidelines for weddings) to let us know he could accommodate us. We had our ceremony and reception in the hotel looking right over Donegal Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. All the staff were so accommodating in the days before and the day of the wedding, with particular mention to manager Megan and Hotel owner Keith. The beautiful ocean themed interior of the hotel fit perfectly with what we had in mind for our wedding theme. The food was superb, perfect quality and quantity. The atmosphere was cosy, warm and relaxed, which is what we always wanted for our wedding day. I can’t recommend the Creevy Pier enough for a a small intimate wedding. Thanks for saving the day!

Sea view rooms are stunning with a glorious sunset if the cloud cover allows it. Hotel is right at the pier. The staff are absolutely superb, we left a shirt in the room and got a message to ask for our address and they would post it back to us. 100% - love them all. The young blonde haired girl (I forget her name) who was on breakfast shift 30th July needs a special mention, She was so helpful, polite and friendly - just like them all I suppose, lol

Hi, Thank you once again for choosing to stay with us as we are aware that there is plenty of choice out there. Cait was your server and indeed like all the staff we are proud of the effort they have gone to during these uncertain times. We hope we will see you again in the not to distant future.

Very disappointed with our visit to Creevy Pier Hotel and restaurant. Whilst the menu may look impressive, the food was overcooked, overpriced and underseasoned. The service we recieved was average at best and did not reflect the high cost of the meal.

The male toilets were in a disgusting state and hand sanitiser stations were empty. I would not recommend visiting.

We visited Creevy pier hotel last Sunday evening and we never had a more pleasant experience I would say in our lives.
The location and setting on any day transcends anywhere in this incredible beautiful county.
We were met immeasitely at entrance by the most professional articulate courteous young lady a girl by the name of Andrea
We did not take the sea view seats offered as we sat with people we knew
I had seafood chowder and my partner had a ceaser salad
The quality presentation and taste and service surpassed anything one could r should expect. All at a very reasonable price
Jewels like Creevy pier should be supported at every conceivable opportunity and staff in this difficult sector should be elevated T every possible opportunity especially Andrea in Creevy pier.

The most relaxing hotel with beautiful views. Delicious food and friendly staff.
Room was clean warm and very comfortable. Not serviced daily due to covid restrictions but clean towels etc were provided daily.
Breakfast was table service with fruit, juice, scones and cereal provided alongside hot menu.
From Megan on reception to Keith himself the staff were all very friendly.
This was not our first visit and definitely won’t be our last

We have have spent the past two weeks in Rossnowlagh and the surrounding area and have eaten lunch and dinner in several premises. Creevy Pier hotel was definitely one of our favourites. The quality of the food was excellent and all piping hot on arriving at the table. I had the chicken and chorizo pasta which tasted delicious. My Father who is very critical of steak if not to his satisfaction was also very happy. The steaks were generous in size and very tender. Well done to Rosin the Chef and her team in providing a great menu at a reasonable price. We will definitely come back on our next stay in Donegal.

We went as a family group of 7 people. We were surprised that the food came in a cardboard box. The pizza was undercooked, only one of our party was satisfied with their main course (steak and prawns). The other mains were not good - there were 4 prawns in my main, the fish platter was tasteless, the duo of fish was very small. Because of the food being in a cardboard box, all salad garnishes had wilted. The whole experience was disappointing.
We had eaten in Bundoran the previous evening and had a great experience, for around the same price, with real plates! We decided to give feedback to the manager, who was very defensive and not interested - he interrupted me 4 times while I was speaking to him. I would not recommend Creevy Pier to anyone and will never go back. This is a pity because the location is stunning and they could do so much better
