Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited Creevy pier hotel last Sunday evening and we never had a more pleasant experience I would say in our lives. The location and setting on any day transcends anywhere in this incredible beautiful county. We were met immeasitely at entrance by the most professional articulate courteous young lady a girl by the name of Andrea We did not take the sea view seats offered as we sat with people we knew I had seafood chowder and my partner had a ceaser salad The quality presentation and taste and service surpassed anything one could r should expect. All at a very reasonable price Jewels like Creevy pier should be supported at every conceivable opportunity and staff in this difficult sector should be elevated T every possible opportunity especially Andrea in Creevy pier.

We had a family gathering today and choose the Creevy Hotel for lunch. There were 11 of us, a last minute hike in numbers but the lovely staff were able to accommodate us without any hassle or problem. The food was excellent and the staff and service was second to none!. I had a gorgeous goats cheese, fresh fig and walnut salad to start and the most succulent lamp rump I have ever tasted for mains. Looking around the table I would have happily ate any of the other choices on offer. Really looking forward to returning again. Well done chefs and front of house crew.

Thanks very much for a beautiful evening meal - couldn’t get over the wide variety of food on offer. The chowder was one of the best I have tasted! Staff were lovely and friendly! Views incredible with a beautiful sunset! Couldn’t fault it at all! We will be back - thanks, Maria and family

25 of us, all ages, had a wonderful evening here for dinner for a family birthday. 10 of us stayed overnight. All the staff are very helpful and attentive at every step from making enquiries to breakfast the next day! We will all go back again. Everyone was raving about the great food. I had the tomahawk steak and by lord it was unreal! We have found a hidden gem!

We came across this real find by chance, along a drive. Arrived around 12 fir lunch but were informed the kitchen wasn't open until 13:00. Staff could not have been more accommodating and were able to offer soup and bread which was lovely. Excellent views across the bay and excellent service.

The most relaxing hotel with beautiful views. Delicious food and friendly staff. Room was clean warm and very comfortable. Not serviced daily due to covid restrictions but clean towels etc were provided daily. Breakfast was table service with fruit, juice, scones and cereal provided alongside hot menu. From Megan on reception to Keith himself the staff were all very friendly. This was not our first visit and definitely won’t be our last

Very disappointed with our visit to Creevy Pier Hotel and restaurant. Whilst the menu may look impressive, the food was overcooked, overpriced and underseasoned. The service we recieved was average at best and did not reflect the high cost of the meal. The male toilets were in a disgusting state and hand sanitiser stations were empty. I would not recommend visiting.

We went as a family group of 7 people. We were surprised that the food came in a cardboard box. The pizza was undercooked, only one of our party was satisfied with their main course (steak and prawns). The other mains were not good - there were 4 prawns in my main, the fish platter was tasteless, the duo of fish was very small. Because of the food being in a cardboard box, all salad garnishes had wilted. The whole experience was disappointing. We had eaten in Bundoran the previous evening and had a great experience, for around the same price, with real plates! We decided to give feedback to the manager, who was very defensive and not interested - he interrupted me 4 times while I was speaking to him. I would not recommend Creevy Pier to anyone and will never go back. This is a pity because the location is stunning and they could do so much better

Went here with family 4 adults 4 kids ..had booked table over the phone we were not told that it was only out door dining…put out side it was freezing had to ask for heater to be turned on ..we ordered wine first ..it came warm …then food started to come I actually was that shocked they sat 8 boxes down…all food came in a brown box..I said what is this they said that’s how we serve it …very small portions kids had about 5 chips each I had to order more ..I honestly can say if I wanted chicken in a box I’d go to kfc at €139 bill we will never go back ..serving food in a box is nothing to do with covid it’s just lazy cheap an degrading of ur restaurant..
