I stayed here with my family in late August 2014, the cottage was all we could have hoped for,it was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities you would need. The only thing you would say and its not a criticism is that the BBQ grill needs some attention to bring it up to the standard I would expect. Also internet... More

Thank you for your kind review and we look forward to welcoming you again to our cottages. Totally agree with your sentiments with the bbq, our eco friendly bbq's need a bit of attention, between the salt air and being exposed all year around, the elements have not been kind, it is an area we are working on during the... The cottages are very relaxing with plenty of space. Great option for activity based holidays for families as they reduce the restrictions of hotels/guesthouses. Homely and comfortable. Will be back next summer.

We spent three days at Big Jimmy 's Cottage as we were in Ireland for a family reunion. We were met and lead to our cottage as we would never have found it on our own. At one point I thought we were entering someone's farm, but a little country road lead to this darling cottage with beautiful views. We... More

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay in Big Jimmy's - very popular for those who want to read a book, paint or just take time out and enjoy the cottage and the beautiful views. Being so close to the sheep and the cows in the field around the cottage is a big bonus for the young ones! More

Just back for a 3 night stay. We got a lovely welcome from Barbara who showed us around. We were surprised how big the cottage was, as it looks a lot smaller from the outside. The cottage was perfect, had everything you could possibly need. Beautiful open fire, the smell of peat just added to the experience. 2 large bedrooms.... More

Recently returned from a lovely pre-Christmas weekend at Mary Kate's cottage Creevy.
