Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed in apartment 2 for 2 nights family of 5 children aged 12,17 and 19. Great location close to the golf club, Belleek castle and woods. Everything you needed. Although it is a caravan park it is quite and very well maintained. Would definitely return.

Excellent site. Very clean , great facilities. Ideal for families with children. Dog friendly and little wooded area to walk them. Helpful non interfering staff. Washing up facilities with lovely hot water. Close to Ballina town and ideal for touring North Mayo

Myself & two adults enjoyed our time here. Safe & sheltered location to pitch a large tent, parking next to tent. Good toilets & great showers. Great location for North Mayo. Very good price & friendly reception. Would recommend & would happily return.

It served us very well. Plenty of space. Good facilities and clean. Security may be an issue. No barrier on entry. Also had a noisy neighbour at night. There didn't seem to be patrolling of this. Overall we were happy.

If you're visiting this caravan site, be sure to bring your own gas supply, as this place will rip you off with the price of gas. €55 for a small gas, with my own empty gas bottle, price gouging I say. Went up town and got a larger bottle of gas for €20. This is rip off Ireland at its best, and should be outlawed, urgently urgently urgently.

This is an ideal location for visiting the town and Beleek woods. I think it's probably a little over priced at €38 (e.g. Achill is a better site and is only €35). There is a TV and breakfast room, a basic outdoor BBQ area and the usual coin operated showers, grey water dumping, chemical toilet dumping etc. I found the laundry facilities very bad - the machine took €6 without working and another machine half washed the clothes and the cycle finished with the machine still full of water. I advised the staff member working and no refund or apology was offered. I'd still stay again but wouldn't use the laundry services.

A family-run caravan park with a frequent presence on site. Gaining in popularity each year as the trend continues to favour self-catering e.g. motor homes, caravans, tents, cyclists etc. Is central to natural beauty of Mayo e.g. Lough Conn, Enniscrone and Ross beaches, Ceide Fields, Downpatrick head etc. Good shopping on its doorstep.

Just back from this site after a long weekend. It was incredibly busy. It has a few resident campers that stay here over the summer and they love the site. They say this weekend was busiest they've seen. I've found the facilities we're very good, very clean, site is kept In very good condition. Toilets showers etc all very good. Lots of young families with young children , children were happy and kept busy with the tennis/ basketball court, play area and football pitch out the back. I can't fault this site, we were very happy with it. 2 minutes drive from the town of ballina, half hour from the incredibly ceide fields clifftop coast line, wonderful belleek forest and Iniscrone beach...oh, and Apache pizza deliver to the gate of the site if youre too lazy to cook! Ballina has more to offer as a destination than I expected and I must admit I will be back this year and again in the future. Definitely one of my favourite sites. Mayo is a great tourist destination with very friendly people

Really lovely site, spotlessly clean, very hot showers, lovely grass areas etc. Laundry area, recycling, rubbish, a place to dispose of blue and grey water and fresh water taps throughout the park. It was very peaceful but still had people around you. We were very impressed with all of the facilities you really couldn't ask for anything else. A very successful first time with our caravan 😊

We spent a week here in July 2021. Good facilities, showers and toilets were very clean and there is a basketball/tennis court and play area etc for kids. We really enjoyed the location, we had bikes and cycled lots of places including Belleek Woods and into the local town Ballina. There is a pub/restaurant not too far - possible to walk to it. Good spot to tour from if you have a car as there are plenty of great beaches / harbours - lots of swimming spots. Owner was very friendly and helpful. The sun also shone all week which was particularly helpful!
