We arrived at Enniscoe house late in the day after a long, tiring drive. The winding lane that led to the front of this old country house was barely wide enough for the car. Despite the roadside sign, we weren't sure that we had made...More
Beautiful house , setting and rooms. The attention to detail for their guests is astonishing. The food is some of the finest i have ever had in the world ( and as a wine merchant, i have eaten in many places). No TV or newspapers....More

I stayed in one of the self catering cottages during my time in Enniscoe. They were absolutely beautiful. A perfect Irish country cottage experience, including wood fire, prepared and ready to light. The bedrooms had everything you need and the bed was very comfortable.

Enniscoe house is very dog friendly. Both in the main house and in their associated apartments. They have two Labradors of their own but this doesn't cause any problems. The house is on stunning grounds and it's lovely to be able to let the dogs off to explore. You obviously have to be mindful of other guests and keep them under control. We stayed with two dogs in one of the apartments. It was a wonderful break.
