Stayed in Downhill Inn for 2 nights in August 2020. Good sized clean family room with very comfortable beds, we ate in hotel both nights and the food was fantastic, nice comfortable bar/dining area. Breakfast also very good. Great value for money

As we were meeting friends & family in Ballina, we decided we would book into the Downhill Inn because we had never stayed before. We discovered later that it was a very good choice for a variety of reasons. Every aspect of Covid 19 procedures were in place which made us feel very comfortable from the outset. There was ample secure parking & our registration was promptly processed by a very friendly gentleman at reception. We asked for & got a room on the ground floor near reception. Our room was bright & spacious with lots of channels on the smart TVs. Initially it was our intention to dine elsewhere but having looked at the hotel menu, we decided to stay put. It proved to be a good decision because the food, the service & the ambience did not disappoint. We will look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Ballina.

At the last minute I spent the night in the Downhill Hotel and Inn. The experience was excellent due to the supreme hospitality of the hosts and staff. The food was excellent and everyone was so friendly. Irish hospitality at its best.

My family and I stayed in the Downhill Inn for three nights. We had two interlocking rooms for the 5 of us. We found it to be an ideal base for us to explore North Mayo. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and we really enjoyed our time in the Downhill Inn.
