Such a beautiful location and an amazing place. We stayed only o e night but wish we had more time at this luxurious destination. The rooms were large and the bed extremely comfortable. Great bathroom amenities and overall the hotel had great amenities. The breakfast was delicious and the staff members throughout the hotel were very pleasant. Will definitely make reservations again when we visit Ireland.

I stayed in Mount Falcon with my family ladt weekend. The staff couldn't go out of their way enough to support us. They provided our son with a free upgrade as he was celebrating a significant birthday. It was so incredibly decent. I would highly recommend this hotel. Sheer luxury in a lovely country location.

I was hoping to stay in an authentic, charming and stylish old manor house outside the town of Ballina. This place wasn't it. The room we stayed in was a generic, dark, charmless hotel room. Nothing quaint or charming about it. Then we found out there was no bar or restaurant in the hotel. Instead, they have erected a giant wedding tent outside the hotel, complete with cheesy wedding music, and giant screen TV's all over the tent. Worse yet, the cheesy wedding music is blasted at full volume until after 11:00 p.m. Quiet time in the country? I wish. Upon checkout (after only one night, thank goodness) I was asked how my stay was by the receptionist. I told her. She was clearly unprepared for such brutal honesty, and said she would get the manager to come talk to me about my concerns. I waited. And waited. And waited. I told her we needed to leave, but she assured me he would be right there. I waited some more. I peered outside the window and there was a guy outside having a leisurely smoke. After finishing his cigarette, he wandered inside. He was not Irish. When I shared my concerns, the first thing he said was, "Were you not informed about the dining options when you made your reservation?" How many booking agencies let people know: "You will need to go outside in the cold to a cheesy wedding tent and listen to cheesy wedding music if you want us to feed you?" Active listening and customer service was not his forte. Outrageously overpriced for what you get.

Very disappointed with our most recent stay. We felt the hotel was not up to the high standards as before. Breakfast was a struggle, Very little choice on table display, gooseberries & red berries was the only choice of fruit. Gooseberries were not even topped and tailed. 2 pots of yogurt, cold meats was 5pieces of salami, no cheeses. Gluten free bread was provided, asked to have toasted but there was no separate toaster available, brought back to kitchen where I presume it was just put with gluten products. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel. Staff are fabulous, mostly students so god knows what will happen here come September. Weather was very hot when we were there, no air conditioning, room was not nice, over sized bathroom, tv was soo far away from bed it was impossible to view, Room 23, Avoid. Overall we have nothing good to say about our stay, it’s a pity. Far too expensive for what you are providing. Will be returning to Ballina but can not say it will be to Mount Falcon until we hear standards have raised.

Short stay but totally relaxing. Massages, live music at dinner and birds of prey experience filled our time at the estate. Great atmosphere in the outside restaurant/bar marquee. I wish I hadn't forgotten the swimsuit because the pool and jacuzzi looked great. Beautiful walks, family friendly place.

My partner and I went for an evening meal at the weekend, we were seated in the marquee area which was lovely. We were seated by a manager who gave us 2 menus and walked away. 15 minutes later we were eventually asked if we wanted food or drinks, we ordered, starter was quick to come out but took ages to have the table cleared for the mains. Asked 2 different people 3 times for a jug of water for the table, when I asked the 3rd time I was told it was coming, 5 minutes later we got 2 glasses of water. Finished our mains and left sitting for a dessert menu that we had to ask for, didn't even clear the table when we were given the menus. The attention the people around us got was second to none, and from what I could see they were residents in the hotel which left me really disappointed as we spent €70. Money is money regardless if we are waiting there or not.

Went to Mount falcon for a family break, stayed in the houses there. First issue was we were told upon arrival that the changing rooms were unavailable in the pool due to renovations. This was not helpful for a family with a 9 month old and a 2 Yr old. Next issue, my 2 Yr old daughter was given raw sausages for dinner and we didn't even get an apology. 3rd issue: if we wanted sheets we would have to pay 20euro per room. I've attached a list of charges if you want anything extra. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I could bring up more issues but I think this says enough.

Had a fabulous weekend in Mount Falcon Hotel, Mayo. From the minute we booked in at reception the staff could not have been more friendly efficient and helpful. Beautiful hotel settled in stunning grounds. Our room was lovely very comfortable with everything included, bathrobes, coffee machine all mod cons. I would highly recommend Mount Falcon and will definitely return. Thank you, Eleanor Walsh.

Large family week away - stayed in courtyard lodges which were great for kids and all the families.. Driving range great, walking areas and in good location for visiting all areas Tent was a great idea but few issues, €40 expensive for what you get at premium bbq, only allowed up once & not great selections. We eat out one day and me & wife went tent at 10pm to have a drink but refused as didn’t eat there, I know Covid has changed things but we were residents with 7 lodges between us, asked for pizza but kitchen closed, couldn’t even get a drink to sit outside on hotel benches, tent was near empty - ridiculous Service in the tent was bad too, 25 mins waiting on a round of drinks!! Staff were lovely apart from the managers but service was very very slow Swimming pool closed, so we stopped off in a different hotel on way home for a night to use pool for our disabled child Wouldn’t be rushing back
