⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Extremely helpful and nice staff, great food, nice views of the lake, relatively quick service, nice seating The only small con that there would be is if healys is full you feel abit claustrophobic (might not be the right word) but I hope you know what I mean.

I was taken to Healy's by my girl friends family and it was easy for me to see why this place has been a family favourite for them for years. The service was excellent - the waitresses were delightful and helpful with our food choices. We sat outside on a lovely day in beautiful setting and within minutes my hangover...

I took my two friends to Healy's Restaurant for dinner on Wednesday and we had such a lovely evening. I hadn't booked and the restaurant was full but Aisling, one of the waitresses, asked us to stay in the bar and she would call us when a table became free. She was so pleasant and friendly and we didn't have...

I had lunch here in April 2013 with my cousin and the food was amazing, so when I was over on holiday this week(tue), decided to treat a friend to lunch, the food was appalling - I mean dreadful, whoever the chef is needs to return to school. My friend had the roast of the day - mashed potato with...

I return to Ireland every year on holidays and always pay a visit to healys. I grew up not too far away. The last couple of visits have been very disappointing. The menu is limited and so overpriced. Yesterday we booked a table for 6, no one greeted us on arrival. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks. One waitress...

Our group of four had an evening meal at the end of the May Day Holiday. We had a pleasant and enjoyable evening. The staff were very good. They were helpful, cheerful and keen to please. The food was good though some preferred items were not available due to the busy holiday period. This was a pity but what we...

Well, myself and my companion walked in the door, only 2 people in the whole lounge eating...we were quickly and rudely told that we had to sit in the corner away from the window as all the tables were reserved for the evening-not a great start. But then we had the waitress, blatantly hungover from the bank holiday weekend come over...

Fantastic Location for a quick summer shandy at the picnic tables overlooking the water. Well maintained gardens at the rear. Outdoor TV, not great viewing in the sunshine but a nice touch. Can't comment on food as we did not eat but prices seemed very reasonable However the service was poor. One staff member working the bar and floor on...

Whilst I have been unfairly harsh about the mildy annoying oversight that occurred at check-in with respect to the wireless broadband log in details not provided (dumb, but not fatal), I did receive a personal follow-up email from the Head of Guest Services who apologised and offerred an upgrade, which I appreciated. To those guests who say "wish I could...

We were celebrating a birthday. Having examined the uninspired menu and seen what was coming out of the kitchen I decided the safest bet was to ask for something simple - egg & chips. Rock solid egg, burnt to a crisp and a mound of soggy chips that had obviously been reheated. My dining companions fared no better. The vegetarian...
