This is the second time we have stayed in the Pine Tree, and if we ever return to visit Glendlough we'll stay there again. The owners are friendly, go out of there way to be helpful, the facilities are clean as a whistle, and cozy. ASs I have to be on a Gluten Free diet they rearranged the breakfast offerings to accommodate me.
Great location , great accommodation, run by lovely people makes Pine Trees Lodge my number one choice for my fishing trips to County Mayo .. Jo-Ann & David are great hosts & are more than happy to arrange your fishing for you ... 5 Stars
Thank you Dave and Joann for your hospitality. You both made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Thank you for leaning us the fishing tackle and arranging all the fishing. I would highly recommend the Pine tree lodge to my friends and anybody who would like to fish the River Moy. Thanks again from Ed, Nick, Richard and Tim.
Pine Trees Lodge is a wonderful B&B - very comfortable and peaceful. It is perfectly situated for touring West Ireland. Jo-Ann and David know the area well and offer excellent advice on scenic drives, places to visit and restaurants. They are warm and caring hosts and nothing is too much trouble. I would love to stay there again.
We had a lovely time here and were made to feel extraordinarily welcome by Joanne and David. They both went above and beyond to make our trip successful and had lots of knowledge to share about the area and the local fishing. The full Irish breakfasts a hearty and tasty, the rooms are clean and well appointed we could not have asked for better. If you are fishing the river is just down the road (you will need a salmon permit and a permission for the fishery) and David and Joanne have lots of knowledge and will be able to put you in touch with a local gillie. If you are looking for a simple, welcoming place to stay in the Foxford/Ballina area this has to be one of the very best. I think I might be back as soon as conditions look good for fishing! Oh, and Del the Collie is lovely.…
