Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A large group of us stayed here to celebrate a friends 30th birthday. There is nothing we could fault with this place. The house is beautiful, rooms are spacious and modern, breakfast was made to order and and the owners went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We done the murder mystery dinner in a nearby location, it was great! Costumes were ready and waiting for us in the house on arrival and a bus brought us to and from! It was an outstanding weekend for all of us and definitely a hidden gem!

We only stayed one night with Bridget and Harry as we were just passing through. They are a very pleasant couple who run a very welcoming B&B. If we had more time in the area, we would have definitely stayed there. Harry is a licensed fishing guide (gillie). Had we known in advance, it would have been nice to engage his services for a day.

Just back from a murder mystery weekend in Foxford Lodge. It was my sisters birthday and a group of us stayed with Brigit and Harry. We had the most amazing time and great hospitality .
The lodge is great for a large group it feels like home from home... beautiful breakfast cooked fresh, homemade breads which were delicious... the murder mystery game was brilliant, Brendan was a great host, very patient! Olivia was really good making all the planning very easy... everyone loved it and we all had the most amazing time. I would highly recommend this weekend break.

Stayed at Railway Cottage for a week in August with family of 5 adults.
The Cottage was nice and big with plenty of room for us all.
The owners Harry and Brigid were very welcoming and delivered fresh bread the next morning (delicious).

My boyfriend and I stayed here after climbing Croagh Patrick and found it a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Brigid is very accommodating and the room was lovely - clean, spacious and well furnished. The breakfast was beautiful - the potato cakes were amazing! We also ordered a loaf of Brigid's chocolate and banana bread to take home with us which was so tasty. I would definitely recommend this B and B.

We are just back from a lovely relaxing stay in the Foxford Lodge and Brigid and Harry were very welcoming hosts. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable and the Foxford Special is a must for breakfast! Will definitely be staying here the next time we are down for a fishing trip.

Stayed with the Feeneys at Foxford Lodge July 2015 for two nights. It could not possibly have been any better! The accommodations, the food, the hospitality, the above and beyond efforts to make our stay enjoyable, were without equal. The day fishing trip arranged by Mr. Feeney was incredible, even in some less-than-perfect weather.

We would like to thank Harry and Bridget for their very warm welcome upon our arriving and their hospitality upon our recent stay. The food and accommodation were superb especially the tea and homemade scones served upon our arrival. The location is ideal for touring the scenic areas in this part of the West.
