Myself, my husband and our dog Lucy had the pleasure of staying a night, in this beautiful B&B. Our room was spotlessly clean and to our delight, it overlooked the harbor. In the evening when the fishermen's boats were docked and the sky was red with a beautiful sunset, it looked really charming. Hannah the owner was very friendly and...

When you arrive at Leim Siar, you will get the most wonderful warm welcome from Hannah . This truly is home from home. Nothing is too much trouble for Hannah & she will help you plan trips , teach you cupla focal , and cook you the most delicious breakfasts. Her house is spacious & in an ideal location for...

Actually this guesthouse is located at the ugliest spot along the Wild Atlantic Way. I have clearly to contradict the comments and evaluations which I have read in the booklet "Where to to stay and where to eat at the Wild Atlantic Way", at Booking and at TripAdvisor! The small village of Blacksod is obviously on its decaying and the...

Our brief stay at Leim Siar B&B was so memorable and special, thanks to Hannah Quigley, that it was our overall #1 for our entire trip. She went way above and beyond to help with a family immigration question, (my husbands family immigrated from Blacksod Bay in 1883) directing us to a wonderful couple, Pap and Kate, when the heritage...

What a lovely friendly place to stay! Forget about the two "poor" rated comments below 😉! Hannah is a welcoming, personable lady. She made an amazing Shepard's pie for dinner for us and gave the pub a call to get us home once it was ready! Breaky was perfect! Thanks for a welcoming place to stay 😀! Keep up the...

We spent the weekend in Black sod on a hen and couldn't have been better looked after. Hannah and her team gave us the warmest welcome and looked after with thoughtfulness and kindness the whole weekend. Her home was clean and cosy, we had everything we needed extra towels, extra cups of tea...offers of lifts to the pub and extra...

Though I was on my own, I was given a large, bright room in this modern, recently built house. Hannah, who runs it, is originally from Dublin, but obviously knows the local area very well and was a font of knowledge and full of ideas about things to do. The wifi was adequate, the breakfast good. Only a couple of...

Visited Blacksod in August and decided to stay at last minute notice! We tried ringing many times but couldn't get an answer. Then someone did pick up the phone but had no idea about availability that night. We then booked a room on booking.com; simple, straightforward. Upon arrival at the B+B we were made to feel bad for booking online...

Leim Sar is in possibly the most beautiful location ever, just around the corner from Blacksod lighthouse and pier and overlooking Achill Island. It's a modern building with everything you need. If it's walking, cycling, fishing you're after, this is where you need to be. There are boat trips out to the Island's too and Belmullet is just 17km away....
