Delia is an attentive and delightful host. My wife, her aunt and myself spent 3 wonderful nights here. The location is sublime. The accommodation is toastie warm with all the amenities you could wish for.

We will certainly be returning as soon as we're able to.

Picked this place based on the location and the great reviews the Erris Head area has received. The Erris Head House is truly a hidden gem! The location is literally at Erris Head and only 10 minutes drive from Belmullet. If you like a getaway in the Irish country side with all the amenities you need, then this is the place to stay. The house is really cosy and you have the Erris Head Loop Walk just on your doorstep. A spectacular 5k walk (or run) around Erris Head with the most amazing views. We explored the area on bikes and there are plenty of great cycling routes to choose from. There are facilities for bike storage.

The house has a big kitchen (with all amenities) for the full use of the guests along with a cosy living room with a fire place that is put on every evening. We opted for just the B option, i.e. without the breakfast, as the great kitchen facilities made it perfect for full self catering.

The B&B is run by Delia and Cathal, a genuinely friendly and accommodating couple who will go a long way to make you enjoy your stay! We really enjoyed their company and all they did for us. They even provided us with homemade bread and freshly caught seafood right from the sea that you can see outside the windows!

We stayed in the ground floor room which had a beautiful view of the sea. The room was good standard B&B style with en-suite modern bathroom. Everything was comfortable, nice and clean. Looking forward to go back here soon!

Delia was the perfect host! Homemade scones when we arrived, homemade full Irish breakfast in the morning and lots of good tips. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night! We did the loop walk in the sunset, there was no-one else but the sheep, it was spectacular!

Wonderful welcome from the lovely Delia and her family who made us feel at home immediately. The location is stunning and extremely peaceful and the loop walk is great. The smell of the peat fire merged with the beauty of the area and the warmth of the welcome.

We spent a long weekend in Erris Head B&B and it was our best weekend away in a long time. The house is *really* cosy and in a wonderful location for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Delia and Cathal gave us such a warm welcome and were very generous with everything – from freshly caught lobster and crab and homemade brown bread to putting on a lovely fire every afternoon in the guest sitting room. It was so nice to come in from a cycle or run after enjoying some really stunning views, cook up some dinner in the guest kitchen and then relax in front of the fire.

I only have positive things to say about this lovely house and area. I was genuinely sad to have to leave! But as Delia said – we know where they are now and will definitely be back soon.

This was our 2nd visit to lovely Delia, Cathal and Erris Head, and more visits to come for sure! The location feels like being at the end of the world with just the wild Atlantic and the sheep which all can be fully enjoyed through the windows of the house or through the spectacular Erris Head Loop walk. This is really a must visit in Ireland. Thank you Delia, Cathal and little Mylo for the warm welcome and for making us feel like home. Thanks for great company, chats and for spoiling us with homebaked scones and brown bread, seafood and much more, really appreciate it all. Looking forward to making our way back soon!

We recently visited Belmullet, Co Mayo for a visit. We stayed in Erris Head B&B. There were 5 of us 2 adults and 3 children. What a warm genuine welcome from B&B owner Delia and Cathal. We had a family room with 1 double bed and 3 single beds. En suite too. We had our own kitchen and sitting room with a lovely stove fire burning turf. Such a homely place and we were welcomed with a basket of freshly baked scones which were delicious. Because the B&B is out in The village of Glenlara at Erris Head, there is no light pollution so the night sky is STUNNING !! never have the children seen a sky full of so many starship!! Breakfast the next morning was excellent. A great choice of cereals cheeses juices and a lovely cooked breakfast. I can wholeheartedly recommend this B&B

Firstly a great location, with stunning views and walks just two minutes walk from the house. And a warm welcome from Delia. We only stayed one night, but with our own cosy sitting room, complete with real fire, and a well-stocked kitchen, it felt like home. And not to forget the generous breakfast...

We kind of stumbled on this place but were glad we did. The host was wonderful and very informative about local history. The accommodations were comfortable and spotless with a kitchen and a comfortable common room with a peat fireplace. The hot Jameson whiskey was a perfect touch. We also enjoyed the cliff walk. It is rather out of the way so you have to be prepared for some isolation but we enjoyed that. The town is about 15 minutes away by car. Highly recommended.

A perfect stopover on the Wild Atlantic Way. Comfortable bedroom with use of lounge and kitchen. Warm welcome from Delia who went out of her way to ensure that we were able to prepare an evening meal. Just a shame that the local Corncrake failed to show on a very windy evening!
