We have been going to TP's site now for years and years. This year was no different as we stayed in his Campsite at Gallarus for a week at the end of August. As always TP and Aonna are always very friendly and helpful and always good company. They run a very good campsite. Everything is cleaned very frequently and it is always peaceful and well maintained. There is a very friendly atmosphere there, almost a community feel as many people return year after year while many others are just passing through, adding to the interesting mix. It is indeed quite laid back but be sure that they do not tolerate any messers !! It is a fabulous location if you want to explore the delights of the Dingle Peninsula. Lots of lovely walks, or cycle trips, within very easy reach of Slea Head and the stunning views of the Blaskets. It is also within east reach of the local villages of Ballydavid, Ballyferriter, Dunquin and Ventry and all the delights they offer by way of good pubs and good restaurants. Of course it is also within easy reach of Dingle and all the buzz of that thriving Town. Lots of top quality restaurants and lots of shopping opportunities. And of course the buzzing nightlife. So I strongly recommend this site and have been coming here since the early 1990s and haven't been disappointed yet.…

Stayed in the early summer of 2023; just catching up on a few reviews. We booked this campsite for a couple of nights due to its location on the Dingle peninsular, and found it to be ideal - a short drive from the town itself and a pleasant walk down to the nearest beach and pub. There are some nice walks in the area, too. Campsite was full for the first day (bank holiday weekend) but the facilities were not too busy; we never had to wait for a shower. Coin operated showers (the norm in Ireland), with plentiful hot water, and an undercover washing up area. The owner and his family were friendly and helpful throughout our stay - would definitely recommend this site.

What a fabulous place to stay. Beautiful views everywhere you turn. A quiet, peaceful and calming location just outside Dingle. Toilets/showers/kitchen etc all spotless. Staff were wonderful and so helpful. We will be back 😁

Great place to stay, staff are full of that genuine Irish hospitality. This is in a beautiful part of Dingle, nicely away from the busy town. There's a pub about 20m away on foot, and a beautiful hidden gem of a beach called the white strand (English) about 7k away. Showers are clean, facilities plentiful and the ground was nice and flat for my tent...

What a fabulous place to stay. This site is so clean & very well run by TP. Dropped by on Saturday of the August BH weekend, without a booking & was accommodated for 2 nights without a problem. We will be back, loved every minute of our stay. Oh the food in his son’s pub/restaurant is amazing, also called TP’s.

Clean and friendly site, helpful staff with good facilities near Dingle and lots of other sites (the Gallarus Oratory is next door). Good layout for campers and awnings, power supply well thought out. Will be coming back as we have more to see in the area.

This site was much better than the pictures . We have a large motorhome and the hard standing was a good size and easy access. Plenty of space between pitches - not crowded in September. Useful to have bicycle as nearest eating place and shop approx a mile away. Great views and on Slea head route. Very friendly. .

Small campsite with clean facilities. Most westerly campsite in Europe. Great views over the bay. TP is very helpful if you need any local info. We stayed their for one night while doing slea head. Nice and quiet even though we were beside the road.
