Stayed in the early summer of 2023; just catching up on a few reviews.
We booked this campsite for a couple of nights due to its location on the Dingle peninsular, and found it to be ideal - a short drive from the town itself and a pleasant walk down to the nearest beach and pub. There are some nice walks in the area, too.
Campsite was full for the first day (bank holiday weekend) but the facilities were not too busy; we never had to wait for a shower. Coin operated showers (the norm in Ireland), with plentiful hot water, and an undercover washing up area.
The owner and his family were friendly and helpful throughout our stay - would definitely recommend this site.

Stayed here overnight on our RV road trip around Ireland, when I contacted them they said there was plenty of space no need to book. Around 10 miles outside Dingle but owner arranged a taxi for us €20 in taxi into dingle for 4 adults. Some campers were wild camping in the car park in Dingle but we prefer having showers and toilets. The owner was very friendly showed us around the well maintained site. Hard pitches with electric and water right at the spot. Showers were €1 coin but were clean, separate changing cubicles in the ladies which was very private. Quiet site as it’s a bit out of the way...... not footsteps from the beach as website describes more like an hour walk there and back again on a road with no paths. We drove down to beach the next morning, Ballydavid Beach beautiful. Closest point to Boston,Massachusetts. The weather was amazing for us and could’ve easily stayed another night.... felt very safe and relaxed. Would definitely recommend and would love to be able to stay again.

A great welcome from TP and family. We really appreciated learning so much about the area and people, particularly as an Irish speaking area.
Very well organised and well run campsite in great location, quiet but near everything you want to see on Dingle Peninsula.
Will definitely return.

My family and friends had planned a trip down the west coast and had been excited about our stop in Dingle. The campsite itself is around 20 minutes outside of dingle town itself. It is small and basic with a small children’s area. There is access to washing machine and dryers €3 each although you need to keep at settings recommended by the campsite I.e quick wash. I encountered some problems with the washer / dryer however the lovely lady in reception helped with this . We had a few less than pleasant encounters with the young gentleman wearing the blue jumper with 24 on the back. Upon arrival he told us our friends car needed to be parked in the car park. We had no issue with this as we assumed the site was full. During our stay there was a huge storm and the awning needed to be taken down. All belongings were then stored in our friends car. I approached the young gentleman to explain this and he gave a pathetic excuse that ‘big band are coming’. He then proceeded to place a large container in the spot next door to us. Again I approached him and asked if the spot was being used as we needed to gather items from the car. He told me a family placed it there as they had just gone into dingle (my daughter watched the young man doing this so this was a lie) . During the storm we had two young children get absolutely drenched fetching items from the car. One of us fell in the muck as the ground was so poor. Turns out the next morning no one was ever in the pitch next to us and the whole park was almost empty. There was absolutely no reason we couldn’t park the second car next door ! I felt this young man was purposely trying to make things difficult for us. Even when in explained the rationale. I definitely wouldn't recommend the site to others. 1. Mainly due to the jobsworth 2. Facilities aren’t great. Basic and overpriced ! Try inch campsite - seems to have raving reviews.

Authentic campsite in aa beautiful peaceful location. Basic facilities but everything you need. Campers kitchen with washing up facilities, room with tables and benches, washing machine and dryer €3 each. €1 ruro for the shower. Bus every couple of hours into Dingle, just stand at the entrance ro the park; or a nice walk.Pub approx 45mins away, lovely harbour location.TP's. Beautiful unspoilt beach 20 mins away. We were allowed to bbq on the hardstanding/pebbles, but not on the grass. The owner, who called himself Tom was just fab, as was Paurdey the young gentleman that checked us in.If we are ever that way again we would most definitely revisit!

We have been going to TP's site now for years and years. This year was no different as we stayed in his Campsite at Gallarus for a week at the end of August.
As always TP and Aonna are always very friendly and helpful and always good company. They run a very good campsite. Everything is cleaned very frequently and it is always peaceful and well maintained. There is a very friendly atmosphere there, almost a community feel as many people return year after year while many others are just passing through, adding to the interesting mix. It is indeed quite laid back but be sure that they do not tolerate any messers !!
It is a fabulous location if you want to explore the delights of the Dingle Peninsula. Lots of lovely walks, or cycle trips, within very easy reach of Slea Head and the stunning views of the Blaskets.
It is also within east reach of the local villages of Ballydavid, Ballyferriter, Dunquin and Ventry and all the delights they offer by way of good pubs and good restaurants. Of course it is also within easy reach of Dingle and all the buzz of that thriving Town. Lots of top quality restaurants and lots of shopping opportunities. And of course the buzzing nightlife.
So I strongly recommend this site and have been coming here since the early 1990s and haven't been disappointed yet.

What a fabulous place to stay. This site is so clean & very well run by TP. Dropped by on Saturday of the August BH weekend, without a booking & was accommodated for 2 nights without a problem. We will be back, loved every minute of our stay. Oh the food in his son’s pub/restaurant is amazing, also called TP’s.

I’ll start by saying i didn’t stay at this site but rather used it for services namely: emptying chemical toilet, refilling water tank and disposing of bin bags, on a recent camperVan trip. The owner met us on arrival and explained it was €12 to use these services and he guided us to the appropriate facilities, all seemed fine and we proceeded. All facilities were as you would expect and no issue whatsoever however, upon finishing as we were preparing to leave the owner became Extremely aggressive shouting and ranting at us to get out now. His level of aggression was frightening we gave him €15 and went to leave, as we turned onto the road Leaving his driveway He approached the passenger window and threw €3 change of €15 in through the window at the passenger of the camper all the while continuing to scream aggressively to leave, get out, get out now. I genuinely have no idea what caused the owners change in demeanour but it was an extremely distressing experience. The level of aggression was completely out of the blue and very threatening.
Of note, my brother in another campervan who was used the same facilities (he was unaware of the incident) approximately five minutes later found the owner pleasant and was charged €5.

Myself and my partner arrived Friday 9th of July and asked if there was space for a tent and made them aware we had a small dog which he said was no problem, the young man we met at the door was friendly however the next day we were approached by an older man and we asked him if it was okay we stay another night and he said we had to leave that their insurance doesn’t cover them for dogs in tents. We were really embarrassed because there were at least 4 other dogs on site and ours was not once off her lead and if this was the case they shouldn’t have taken our money in the first place. Other than that it was very basic and quite noisy at night which isn’t the owners fault, maybe we got unlucky with the groups that were there at the time.
