Proprietor Jimmy is the straw that stirs the drink at this rural Dingle B&B. His wealth of knowledge about the area and his helpfulness make him a fine host. When we got very lost trying to find the B&B (GPS problem), Jimmy drove out to meet us at a nearby location from which we could follow him back. It already... More

This B&B is quite different to many we have stayed in on our holidays over the years. When making a booking we look at location, size of the bedroom and ensuite,TA reviews and price. Where to begin?? Forest of the Roses is located 15 mins from the town of Dingle. We did not realise the distance when we booked and... More

We spent two days with Jimmy and could not say enough about his hospitality, cooking, and accommodations. The room was fantastic and the view was amazing. The location was great being 15 min drive to downtown dingle or a short taxi ride. The homemade scones were amazing!!

Jimmy was a wonderful host! This B and B is close to Dingle. Clean and comfortable with nice size room and awesome views of the countryside! The first day there the cows came down the road past the house. That was so cool! Easy ride into Dingle town. Jimmy is an excellent cook and will cook to order. He sent... More

My husband and I both agree Dingle was our favorite stop during our recent honeymoon to Ireland. I cannot recommend Jimmy's place enough. Our favorite by far!! Jimmy and his wife are so sweet, so welcoming, so helpful, that our few days in the area were amazing. They recommended a restaurant when we got into town late, which was also,... More

We spent 16 days driving around Ireland and staying at various B+Bs. We stayed with Jimmy and Noreen for 2 nights and felt like family. EVERYTHING was perfect (and this is no exaggeration): 1. Excellent location - grazing cows, sheep, horses...beautiful...and close to town for dinner. 2. Super clean and comfortable - the bed was very comfortable (and I am... More

I stayed here while walking the Dingle Way, the owners, Jimmy and Noreen were marvellous, they couldn't have been nicer. We arrived and were shown to our room and given time to change and then Jimmy served us with home made cakes and preserves and tea and coffee we couldn't resist and ended up stuffed to the gills. Jimmy offered... More

At first when you are trying to find this bed and breakfast, it seems a little far from town, but once you arrive and are greeted by the host with " tea or coffee"? It gets better. The rooms are super clean, and the location is of the beaten path, look out the window and see horses grazing, or cows... More

Jimmy is an exceptional host, making sure each guest's every need is met. He is so friendly and helpful that you feel guilty for having him wait on you! Forest of the Roses is a bit out of town, but you soon realize that all the beauty of the Dingle Peninsula is just around the corner. We stayed three nights... More
