We have been trying to stay in this hotel for quite along time all sorts conspired against us from being booked out to having to many children with us and it working out to expensive for our budget with 3 children. We finally made it solo on the 20th of July for 3 nights wow was it worth the wait, room was fab real hotel bed had a canopy we were lucky enough to have a couch, the room was so quiet exactly what I asked for. From booking with Helena to checking in with Louise flawless. I wish I could remember all the receptionists names the amazing girl who organised the mini fridge when we could't get Ice. The lovely girl who checked us out on Friday 23rd. To the bar staff and chef thank you for the lovely meals my husband was in fish heaven to the waitresses you were lovely and friendly . Finally to to Siobhan from Dingle Skellig you had charm in abundance and yes we will take you up on you r challenge lol. We are 30 years coming to Dingle and this was a very nostalgic trip, first time with no children and first time with no Fungi . So worth it food fab, breakfast fab loved every minute of it. A huge thanks from Deirdre and Billy. John Foley keep doing what your doing because it's working!

The service is terrible. Left waiting at reception for ages, receptionist actually left the desk as I arrived (asking about parking) and then a second time she answered the phone while I was actually checking in. I only stayed one night and walked in off street after an evening out to the outdoor space and was cornered. Only when I told them I was a resident did they say OK. Was told I could sit outside and someone would take my order. Was left waiting again and had to go into the bar to order and when I returned my table was gone. My room is overlooking a terrace that smokers are frequenting and the alley way of the outdoor space. Smoke, noise and no privacy. The shower is in bath and there was a soap holder hanging off the wall. So narrow a space I then realised why it's hanging off the wall as I injured my own arm off it. Very limited parking. No lift up to my room on first floor . For €250 a night when you can only check in at 4pm it's hugely disappointing.

Dear Clare, I am very surprised and disappointed to read your review. This is not at all in keeping with our service standards and you will see yourself from previous reviews, this is something I am very surprised to hear. We pride ourselves on our guest experience and this is not in keeping with our service standards which we provide. I would like to respectfully disagree on your view that we look down on solo travellers as we treat all of our guests with the same respect.  I am disappointed that you feel that your experience was disappointing - we would always ask that if you have any issue at all while here, that we are given the opportunity to rectify it while you are with us in the hotel.  If you would like to discuss this please contact us directly.  Regards,  Miriam

Perfect spot for family of 4. Central location so once car is parked you can walk everywhere. Lovely hotel with an old world charm. Staff are friendly and service is exceptional. Breakfast booking slot necessary. We took two rooms right next door to each other. Rooms are comfortable and surprisingly quiet given central location. Would highly recommend

Had a wonderful stay in this hotel. It's old worldly, and full of charm. The room was presented beautifully, food was delicious, the staff are so professional and warm. While it's centrally located, getting a good night's sleep was not an issue; we had spent the previous night lying awake in another hotel listening to street noise, and desperately needed a decent night's rest...only wished we had stayed in this hotel for the duration of our stay in Dingle. If you want something different from the norm, with high standards, this is a great option. Will definitely return.

Me, my husband, and 2 year old son stayed at this beautiful hotel and very much enjoyed it! Classic old school irish feel, absolutely amazing dinner, and location could not be better! Also the staff is so accommodating, knowledgeable, and willing to help in anyway. Order the Irish coffee from the bar and the duck wings for dinner. Thank me later! Highly recommend Benners!!
