Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Despite carefully planning which quiet, renovated room with a bathtub and view and having email correspondence ahead of time making notes in my booking, plus booking directly with the hotel myself to ensure there were no mix ups, I showed up Monday 8pm and my room had been given away - no other removated room with bath tub available. The only alternative offered was a much smaller, no view, room next to renvarions and kitchem noise so I couldn't nap during the day. The Swing shift gal was very apologetic, comped me a free drink, and I did get the medically necessary bathtub but... It's my very hard earned savings as a teacher coming all the way from the USA, and instead of enjoying my stay, I hate being in this room. I had to ask for a lower rate (which she gave me). My view from my bed... this wall. Positive note - Breakfast was good!

It is right in the middle of town. The hotel is spotless and charming, the staff were amazing, the breakfast was second to none. We stayed a week and tried all the breakfast menu items and nothing disappointed. Best French toast EVER. They have no problem with substitutions or asking for extra servings, (my husband wanted 2 eggs Benny - no problem). There’s also a buffet with fruit, yogurt, breads etc. The St Patty’s parade went right in front of the hotel. There are numerous pubs on the block. Great place to stay and enjoy Ireland. Don’t miss driving the Dingle Peninsula, it’s gorgeous.

This hotel has an older historic section and a newer wing. Our family had two rooms and the one we (the older parents) stayed in had a unique high ceiling. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The provided breakfast was tasty. Dingle is very walkable and the hotel was near 2 unique pubs - including one that was a combo of hardware store and pub!

Very nice hotel, service was exceptional. Enjoyed the restaurant. Not many restaurants were open during this time in the area, the hotel made sure we had a reservation there and food and service was good. Breakfast was included and a great way to start the day. Parking was easy

We had a fantastic 2 day stay at Benners the staff could not have done more for us from start to finish. The room was very large with a 4 poster bed overlooking the Main Street with everything you needed. The restaurant and bar was excellent plenty of choice for food & drinks all very reasonable we had a lovely table right at the bar and the craic was great from the staff. A big thanks to all the team to many to name extremely well run hotel. The car parking is at the rear with no charge and location is excellent right in middle of the town 5* stay

Booked a two night stay between Xmas and the new year I certainly didn't get any of the rooms that are advertised on the website. I was very disappointed by the standard of the furnishings to say the lest . Handles missing from wardrobes and gauges out of the furniture . bathroom needed a professional deep clean. On checking out I wasn't asked for any feedback on my experience as most hotels do ask. I did get intouch with the hotel forwarding pictures I had taken and to hopefully stop anyone else having a disappointing stay. Just make sure your not given a sub standard room. Breakfast was fabulous 👌

This is the second time we have been, and it didn’t disappoint. We went with another couple, it was relaxing, the staff cannot do enough for you. Breakfast was fabulous. But disappointed with valentines evening dinner, wasn’t great, the main meal, Dessert was delicious.

Cosy hotel. Staff very friendly and efficient. Good breakfast. A group of us stayed over the weekend and they were very accommodating when we wanted a singsong in the bar after food was served. Parking off Dykegate Street was very handy and free to guests. All in all a very enjoyable experience
