Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great small hotel. Great location. You can walk easily to any pub or restaurant in Dingle. Staff was warm, helpful and inviting. Small hotel Charm but professional attention to detail. Would stay here again without any hesitation. Only regret is that we did not stay longer. !

Benners was recommended to us by a Dingle local and we so appreciated the tip. Centrally located, Benners has undeniable charm with an excellent pub/restaurant and accommodations. Our room was recently renovated and wonderfully comfortable. Definitely a good spot if you want to be within walking distance of Dingle's main attractions.

Very good hotel - we stayed one night as part of our road-trip down the Wild Atlantic Way. Dingle is a great town - has a nice vibe to it and is a place we'd come back to. And if we did, we'd stay again at Benners. An older hotel but impeccably maintained and with friendly and attentive staff, especially on Reception. Big car-park to rear (get a map from Reception on how to find it!). The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast - a good choice and Eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. Highly recommended. Good choice of eateries nearby and loads of pubs with live music.

Always loved the food and service here but disappointed to see that serving staff are chewing gum while serving customers. Doesn’t do anything for the ambience of this lovely hotel There is a time and place for chewing gum but not while serving customers. It’s

This was a beautiful hotel. Excellent customer service. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a 4-poster bedroom which had a super comfy bed, and an excellent shower. Beautiful plush furniture. We had booked a 2-night package which included excellent breakfasts and a generous packed lunch on one day. Thoroughly recommend.

The best customer service we’ve ever received … anyway … EVER! A MASSIVE thank you to Maura for the best greeting we have ever received ; she’s an absolute star ⭐️ I booked two rooms here as part of our tour, to coincide with our daughter’s ( Gemma) 21st and the staff could not have been more accommodating from the moment I first emailed, then booked. Maura greeted us at reception with such excitement “Ooh, where’s the birthday girl?” And thereafter she went out of her way to ensure our daughter had the best experience whilst staying there … and she did! The best room, fizz and strawberries on arrival and offers for more. Nothing was too much trouble. Her colleague Tina made sure Gemma had GF mini birthday cakes at breakfast. We had afternoon tea in a private lounge followed by dinner in their restaurant. Without me asking for anything, they had remembered Gemma’s birthday and added special touches to her dessert - so thoughtful. It’s a fairly big hotel but you were always made to feel special, which is always memorable. And Kaisa who served us at breakfast was as brilliant as her smile 😊- so friendly and efficient, chatting about Dingle and family. I’m sure she was so busy, but she was happy to talk. The hotel may not be the most modern, the decor may be a bit dated in places, but it has real heart, warmth and a feeling of comfort. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast choice was extensive and plentiful with some GF options for Gemma. We want to thank everyone at Benners for making our stay so special and for going above and beyond to make our daughter’s birthday so memorable. We highly recommend a stay here if you’re ever in Dingle!

This hotel is a gem. We had a beautiful newly refurbished room, tea/coffee, fridge. Bottled water replenished every day. Very comfy king size bed, room was very big with large bathroom. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever got in hotels, freshly cooked and served with great selection to choose from. Well John and his staff make it definitely worthy of 4 stars. Friendly, very helpful and nothing is a bother to them. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Fantastic hotel Super friendly and efficient service from a dedicated staff and management. We were impressed by the size of bedrooms, very nice decorated and very comfortable. Food is very good, I had one of the best lamb dishes in a long time. Breakfast is lovely with a very good choice. I can highly recommend the hotel. Well done to all involved for such a lovely stay
