This place is wonderful. From the moment you arrive, you are cared for in every aspect. Helen and Brian are so helpful, they are happy to arrange activities and restaurant reservations for you. The breakfast is top notch and they were very accommodating of my...More
This was our third visit to Castlewood House, and we still love the place. Our room was lovely with sea view, the breakfast was just as good as we remembered it, and the service was very good. We will definitely be back!
Can't say enough about this place but we will start with we didn't stay long enough in Dingle or with Helen and Brian. We spent 2 nights at the Castlewood House and it was as advertised and then some. Brian and Helen were available at...More
Fabulous B&B. Helen and Brien are friendly, helpful and professional (include Ann in that group). This a beautiful home away from home. Outstanding food and service. Dingle is charming. Castlewood is over-the-top quality

Best to email Helen and Brian asap to discuss dates, I think Castlewood has 14 rooms some with double beds. There is free car parking in front and hotel is conveniently located 10 minute walk into town. Elevator in house but there are a few steps up to front door and inside foyer.
Dingle is a fun town for children and they are allowed in pubs to hear music. Murphy's ice Cream, Dingle Aquarium, pottery workshop, fishing in bay - see Fungi the wild dolphin, historic and tour attractions out west on Slea Head Drive, beautiful beaches for picnic lunch. Dingle Crystal workshop is awesome, owner Sean is master glass artist and rides very cool Harley Motorcycles.
Enjoy Dingle! Ellen

On our first night in Dingle we walked along the Strand from Castlewood to a pub that was a few doors down from the the Out of the Blue restaurant. There we had one of the best evenings of our Ireland trip listening to the music of a first rate entertainer.
