By far, the Castlewood House was one of the most gorgeous inns that we could rest our heads during our travels in Ireland. It is set across from Dingle Bay, providing stunning views from our room. The decor in the inn was spectacular with a...More
Absolutely lovely stay at the Castlewood. Beautifully appointed rooms, delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts. Unfortunately, we only planned to stay for one night as we traveled through Ireland, but when we get back to Dingle there wouldn't be anywhere else that we would stay.
Many excellent reviews exist for this property already, so not too much to add other than to concur with the high ratings given by others.
Brian and Helen run a great operation and made us feel very welcome.
Helen and Brian operate one of the best B&B’s you will ever visit. Their rooms are comfortable and very spacious with large modern bathrooms. Castlewood House faces the water and the view is beautiful. Helen was very helpful with lunch and dinner recommendations as well...More
Castle wood combines the charm and elegance of a small hotel with the friendliness and caring of a good B&B. The breakfast was excellent, all the staff attentive and caring, the room perfect and Brian and Helen most helpful.

Best to email Helen and Brian asap to discuss dates, I think Castlewood has 14 rooms some with double beds. There is free car parking in front and hotel is conveniently located 10 minute walk into town. Elevator in house but there are a few steps up to front door and inside foyer.
Dingle is a fun town for children and they are allowed in pubs to hear music. Murphy's ice Cream, Dingle Aquarium, pottery workshop, fishing in bay - see Fungi the wild dolphin, historic and tour attractions out west on Slea Head Drive, beautiful beaches for picnic lunch. Dingle Crystal workshop is awesome, owner Sean is master glass artist and rides very cool Harley Motorcycles.
Enjoy Dingle! Ellen
