Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed in single bay hotel with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday Saturday. We do not have enough positive words about our stay. From the moment we arrived into the car park the receptionist helped us with our bags (my partner is a wheelchair user) and we were checked in swiftly with the friendliest and most professional receptionist who was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. Our room was fantastic. Completely accessible as a wheelchair user friendly room. Excellent bathroom facilities. The staff were so attentive and helpful all weekend. Caroline is so friendly and had a happy positive attitude throughout but especially in the mornings for breakfast and had an infectious positive attitude to set you up for the day. We ate in the bar both days because the food was fabulous!!!! The staff in the bar were also extremely friendly attentive! Laura in the bar was great and I didn't get the Batman's name but he was also great and helped us even set up a firestick to watch a match and gave my partner control of the tv for it a set it all up for us. The food, the staff, the drinks, the facilities, everything about our stay was 5 star!!!! We will be going back very soon!!!! A massive thank you to all staff at single bay hotel and we HIGHLY recommend to everyone to experience this fabulous hotel! Leisha and Gary.

Four of us had a delicious dinner in Paudie's Bar - on a Monday!! Great fish, amongst other things, and good pints. The staff were very attentive, and we all had a great evening. Prices were very reasonable, and I would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely Hotel right in the center of Dingle. Even in late September, Dingle was mobbed with fellow tourists - best to make reservations for dinner as soon as you arrive! Nicely appointed rooms. There is a restaurant located on the 1st floor - but do make a reservation as soon as possible!

Incredible location in the heart of Dingle right outside the docks. Outstanding breakfasts cooked to order with likely the most friendly staff in all of Ireland. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. All of this in one of Irelands best towns according to our large group. Great memories here!

The service is outstanding. Such wonderful hospitality by Caroline who is welcoming and warm. The full breakfast is included and the food is top-notch. The attached restaurant’s food is too and their staff is terrific. Location, location, location. Right across from the harbor and an easy walk everywhere in town. There’s a dedicated parking lot for the hotel as well too which is helpful since summer is high season for tourists and parking is at a premium. The rooms are cozy and clean, and the windows keep any noise out so it’s very quiet. Highly recommend!

Lovely restored hotel/restaurant/pub - and great breakfast room. Thanks much to delightful Carline and comrade Ansolm! Dingle is usually a restful and tranquil town - except during racing season - bicyclists, fairgrounds … when we spent few days.

Great location. But don’t stay here .It is massively massively overpriced .The rooms are truly dreadful …from the 1970’s as is the service . We asked for some food at 15.38 having driven 6 hours to get here ,they stopped food at 15.30 and would not serve…...Room was very poorly furnished, way too hot,no drinking water. It pains me to say it as an Irishman on holiday here, but these guys are being opportunistic on pricing ,do not stay here .

Just walking by and decided to have a drink - moved inside due to weather and ordered dinner. My husband and I shared the chicken wings for an entree and then the prawn pasta for a main. OMG BOTH MEALS WERE AMAZING!! Staff were very friendly and helpful and we were very appreciative! Highly recommend this venue!!!

Great hotel! We loved the friendly staff, the hotel bar, and the location! Breakfast was great each day and we loved this being our home base in Dingle. We liked the large skylight style windows in our room that let in a ton of natural light.
