After driving the Ring of Kerry, we checked into Greenmount and were immediately taken with the inviting layout of the common areas and terrace. Margaret was quite helpful in giving us a tour of the place and setting us up with wine on the terrace with its sweeping views of the harbor and green hills. Our rooms were spacious and well appointed and beds comfortable. The breakfast offerings were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the coffee and date porridge. The staff was a joy to be around and quite helpful. Due to change in plans we had to move to the Barr and Sraide which is a big step down from the Greenmount at nearly the same price. At the Greenmount we reserved one of the seaview rooms which have wonderful views and private balconies. Recommend going for that upgrade. Can’t think of a better place to have spent three days.…
Only stayed one night, was very pleased to see the room (with a view) and excellent bathroom. Having just stayed in two 4 star hotels in Belfast and Galway, this B&B was a higher standard! Easy walk into town and food. When we return we will book again!
We had a long-ish drive from Doolin (which we loved) and din't know what to expect from Dingle, then we arrived at the Greenmount House and knew all would be well. Our room was huge, and the front deck looked out on the bay with cows grazing on the green in front of it. On the right, across the road were sheep grazing. There were many inside gathering areas that looked out on the same view in case it was raining. It was all so peaceful. and idyllic. There was self service area with wine that you paid for on the honor system, which we took full advantage of! It was within walking distance of everything has to offer. There was so much great music, charming pubs and the Michelin restaurant Out of the Blue is not to be missed (reserve in advance).
We recently stayed at the Greemount and it could not have been more perfect. We were lucky enough to reserve one of the seaview room and it was amazing, absolutely splurge for this---the view was amazing. It was so quiet in our rooms. The room was huge, one of our favorite stops on our Ireland trip. Breakfast was incredible---even if you don't order the hot breakfast special you have more than enough sitting on buffet---we are still craving the almond coffee cake! Gary was very helpful on recommendations, room was spotless, dealing with questions via email always had prompt responses, bathtub was wonderful to soak in after driving narrow roads!! Could not have been better location to walk to everything. Plenty of parking. Absolutely great experience for 2 nights.
We have stayed at Greenmount House several time over the years. This is the perfect location to enjoy Dingle. A short walk to all the shops, attractions and pubs. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and quiet, and private parking is a real plus. But breakfast, now that is impressive. The view of Dingle Bay is awesome and the selection is exceptional. Gary is certainly carrying on the fine tradition of the Curren family.
Greenmount House was a highlight of our 2 weeks of travels across Ireland. We were in room six which is at the back of the building and faces a lovely garden area. There is an inside table facing the garden and an outside table too. It was nice to open the sliding glass doors for fresh air. The breakfasts were delicious and ample. There is a nice cold bar and then a menu for hot items too. The views from the breakfast room were lovely. You do have to reserve a time for breakfast so be sure to do that when you checkin. We weren’t told that and had to have a late breakfast our first day as a result. Parking is ample and easy. It is a short walk into town but very simple. Great base for the Slea Head drive and for some general relaxation. I’m glad we chose it.

The guest house is very comfortable, the welcome from everyone was lovely and nothing is overlooked. We had a gorgeous room with a balcony looking towards the sea and hills beyond, it was very comfortable, a very good size with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was great with a good variety.
We loved our stay at Greenmont House. The room was incredible-- with two sitting areas, and a private patio that overlooked the incredible Dingletown Bay. The bed was comfy and the bathroom spacious and clean. The breakfast offered was incredible! 5-star service in a window-filled room that shared the incredible view. It was wonderfully located-- only a short walk to all the restaurants and shops in town and along the Bay. This was my favorite stay in our two-week trip to Ireland!
