Greenmount Guesthouse is a fabulous family run establishment with Gary Curran at the helm of this delightful and well-priced boutique hotel/guesthouse. They offer spacious bedrooms and a heart-warming full Irish breakfast that will keep you going until evening time. The morning restaurant has a gorgeous view of Dingle Harbour and is a five minute stroll to the town centre. Lovely welcoming place to relax and unwind l.
If you are lucky enough to get a booking here you will see why it's so popular. The beds were 5 star, Breakfast was epic and as good as anything I have ever had. Gary and the team know their stuff. If you can get in, don't hesitate. We stayed for 4 nights. The Guesthouse is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and 15 mins from the marina.
From start to finish, our stay was flawless. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms are kitted out to a very high standard. Breakfast was amazing and every possible taste was catered for. Nothing was too much trouble for Gary or any of the staff. I would highly recommend Greenmount House to anyone travelling to Dingle.
Before we’d even finished our first night at this commendation, we were recommending this house to all our family and friends. We had never stayed at a house/b+b before and were concerned that maybe walls would be thin or rooms would be old fashioned. How wrong we were. Upon check-in the loveliest woman (recently back from Australia) greeted us and gave us a tour of the House. The views from the kitchen were panoramic and clear from every angle and we were informed that not only would we be eating breakfast there but due to COVID restrictions we could bring back takeaway food too. Another thing this tour revealed was the abundance of armchairs and seats positioned at windows to enjoy the views of Dingle (which are spectacular). Upon getting to our room, we could see the incredible views from our massive window, exactly as promised. The balcony was great also, small but wide enough for two people to sit outside in the sun with a drink or a snack to soak in the scenery. The rooms were stunning, with extremely comfortable beds, all the facilities you would need and even books compiled on the various things to do in the area. Another touch we really appreciated was access to our rooms through the back door, which allowed for us to return to our room without walking through the lobby if we so pleased. The breakfast both mornings was spectacular. You sit down and have a buffet of yoghurts and cereal to choose from to get you started. Then you’re given a menu which you can order your eggs/Irish fry up from. The food was incredible and coffee, tea and orange juice never went a moment without being refilled. Breakfast was truly a 5 star experience. Lastly, the staff, particularly Gary, were incredibly accommodating. He made us feel as if no ask was too big and that the top priority was us having an enjoyable time. In summary, Greenmount House was a staycation experience that not only will we never forget, but we’re sure to repeat. The only way to get service equally as kind with views as spectacular and food as tasty is to spend four as much somewhere else. Stay at the Greenmount, trust us!…
I have yet to find a nicer B&B in Ireland never mind Dingle! It was fab. The breakfast alone is worth the trip. Gary and his staff are the best at what they do and their years and years of business are what shines here. The house is beautifully decorated with a real home away from home feel. Will certainly be back. Top tip - book the superior room, the views are fab, giant bed and loads of room with a small balcony too
