We stayed one night in An Capall Dubh with another couple during an Ireland’s road trip. Honestly the decision was made because the picture of the supposedly main entrance appeared as a classical place. Reality became a new departments construction but in a town with very few lodging options. You should expect a very modest rooms with minimal space and amenities. It is important to note the quality of great service and desire of the owners to provide a good stay and visit. However, in our case, the sleeping in cold and lack of living area assumes that that you will be in the room only for the minimum and not necessarily comfortable time. Dingle and thd area around is fantastic, and our stay here fully complemented it. They're 'automated' booking system worked a treat. The breakfasts were lovely and the help we had with finding our way around the peninsula was invaluable. We fully intend to return again and would surely enjoy staying here for sure

We very much enjoyed our stay here, we highly recommend staying here. Check in was easy, breakfast was great, staff was friendly, location was perfect! The rooms we had were well furnished and clean. Parking was very convenient.

An Capall Dubh (The Black Horse) is a nice guesthouse well located in Dingle town. Its up from the harbor area but well located near music, pubs and restaurants. Very friendly staff and great breakfasts. Moderate price. Good value

This was a wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect, the room was clean and the staff was amazing. The breakfast was delicious with many options. There was plenty of parking. There are B&B rooms and apartments. Kira was just a delight at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at An Capall Dubh. Our hosts were friendly and caring, and gave us great advice on where to explore in the Dingle peninsula. Our rooms (a self-catering mini house, actually) was spacious and comfortable, although the beds could use updating. And the breakfasts were outstanding. I definitely recommend An Capall Dubh to anyone staying in the Dingle area.

We stayed a night in one of the B&B rooms while in Dingle for a wedding. Helena, Gavin, and all the team - all family as far as I could work out - were brilliant. Super friendly and full of good chat and helpful advice, but also went out of their way to help my wife who had an important work call while we stayed, fetching a work desk and chair for the room and letting us check WiFi in various spots (it worked perfectly). Usual stuff was all spot-on, too: big tasty breakfast, good beds, linen, and clean bathroom with strong shower. It’s right in the middle of Dingle by the church. Lovely spirit to the whole place. My parents, my son, and I had 2 rooms upstairs in the main reception building (where breakfast is held). They were both simple, but cozy, clean, and comfortable. Check-in procedure was clearly communicated. Gated parking just off the public car park next door. The B&B is centrally located so everything in town is a short walk. Breakfast was a cold buffet followed by hot breakfast to order. What really shines about this property is the host, Helena, and her staff. Everyone we talked with was helpful, friendly, and informative. We loved hearing about Helena's childhood and family, her history in the area. We spent 2 days in the Dingle area and it definitely left a special feeling in our hearts. What a beautiful part of Ireland filled with wonderful people!

The place is perfectly located in the heart of Dingle. Has great parking. The rooms are simple, but spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful - constantly asking if we had everything we needed. The food is also good. And WiFI excellent x much better per than the majority of hotels.

We spent 2 nights here in May 2022 in 'Seomra Cuig' (aka room 5) in the main B&B part of the property. Check in (contactless) was an email that the key (physical key) was in the room. This was a big room with a queen bed and a single bed. There was no air conditioning, but the widows did open to cool the room. There are shades on the window and skylight as the sun rises early and sets late in May. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast requests were filled out the night before with dining time to avoid overcrowding, although the property was not fully booked during our stay. The breakfast was made to order and delicious with the staff taking the time to interact with guests and provide tips for touring for the day. It is a gated property and parking (with access code) and is very convenient to all that is Dingle. Check out was 'Leave your key in the door'. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Dingle.…
