We had an amazing stay at An Capall Dubh. Our hosts, Helena and Patrick were extremely accomodating and friendly. They accommodated us at very short notice as our previous booking at another B&B fell through. The breakfast was delicious and the homemade brown bread was really tasty. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the centre of Dingle and will definitely stay again.

We have returned here for the last seven years for our annual holiday in Dingle. Patrick and Helena, are the perfect hosts. And the situation of An Capall Dubh is the best you could find. The rest of the staff are also so very friendly and helpful and the welcome is absolutely first class. And the cleanliness is second to none.

We have just finished a week of bliss in Dingle at An Capall Dubh. The self catering house we rented was right in the centre of the old town - surrounded by some of the best pubs and restaurants on the planet. The accommodation was excellent, had secure private parking and was well equipped. But what really made our visit to Dingle so special was the super-friendly atmosphere and warm welcome provided by our hosts Pat and Helena. We will definitely be back again in the very near future.

I chose an Capall Dubh on foot of anecdotal advice on its hygiene standards - a major consideration in Covid times .I was not disappointed .The single room accommodation was comfortable and very clean and the hygiene standards from the point of entry to the car park were unsurpassed .Staff were very friendly and amazingly hygiene conscious - sanitisers available everywhere and mask wearing was the norm.A perfect location in the centre of everything but very private at the same time.I enjoyed the best breakfasts ever and will return without hesitation.Patrick & Helena take a bow .

We stayed in one of the self catering houses for 5 nights followed by one night in the B&B. I would highly recommend Capall Dubh. Patrick and his team are so welcoming and very helpful. Staff gave great advice on beaches to visit and the safest ones for swimming. The houses are very well equipped with washing machine, dryer and dish washer which comes in very handy when travelling with young children. Fresh towels are provided and changed as needed. Beach towels are supplied and can be collected daily from reception. Stair gates supplied as we were travelling with our toddler twins. Location is excellent in the centre of Dingle minutes walk from restaurants, bars etc. Breakfast in the B&B was excellent one of the nicest.Look forward to returning to Capall Dubh in the future. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for 1 night after spending a week travelling around Ireland staying in various hotels and guesthouses. I was very underwhelmed when I walked into the room after staying in some gorgeous places. It was fine, very basic room. Pros – location is excellent, right in the middle of town. free carpark at the back which was great as the town seemed like a bottleneck with nowhere to park. Breakfast was nice. The price was cheap. Cons – the room was SO loud. The water pump was going off until 2am and I didn’t sleep a wink and back on at 7am. Heard everyone come in and out also. The bed was SO uncomfortable. We also had to strip the beds and put everything into bags etc. Like I get with covid etc but it’s the only place we had to do this so just seemed lazy. Bathroom wasn’t great, the tiles were like something out of a swimming pool so I waited until I got home to shower. I would not stay here again as it was more of a hostel feel than a B&B.

Hello I am Helena the owner of An Capall Dubh Bed and Breakfast . With regard to your review if you had let us know we could have addressed the pump issue straight away pointless letting us know through complaining in a tripadvisor review . There is always a solution . As regarding our beds we have all new orthopedic mattresses this season . Our strict Covid 19 protocol is adherent to KERRY SAFE PASS AND BORD FÁILTE IRELAND COURSE RECCOMMENDATIONS which has been completed by all management and staff . It is to keep us and our guests free from Covid 19 and thankfully it has worked !

Really enjoyed my stay with great adherence to COVID-19 infection control measures. Private parking is a godsend given the busy streets nearby. Local restaurants and shops are on your doorstep. My room was lovely and fantastically lit by two Velux windows. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Visited Dingle for four nights with friends for a staycation, we stayed in Tigín a Cúig. The house felt like a home, we settled in straight away. Room for everyone with regards to couch/bed space and the amenities all worked perfectly. COVID-19 restrictions were respected with contactless check-in/out and all linens/towels were washed. The location is great too, close to everything! Would definitely stay again.
