We are on a two week visit to Ireland, and this inn has really stood out. It is meticulously maintained and the staff is delightful. The breakfast room is beautful and matched by the great breakfasts we enjoyed, with a wonderful buffet in addition to a menu of hot entrees cooked to order. The head waiter was cheerful and solicitous, and the chef also popped out to check with in guests. We met him later and learned he is David Heaton, the proprietor. Clearly, he takes great pride in operating such a wonderful inn. The location is perfect, overlooking the harbor, and a short, level walk into the center of downtown Dingle. The room was a nice size, with a beautifully tiled spacious bathroom, with ample space around its sink for toiletries. It included both a strong shower, and a separate large bathtub. It truly is one of those rare places that sets the standard by which other lodgings become judged, and for which we will long be raving.

The service is beyond reproach. There is a feeling of comfort and atmosphere of warmth and friendliness when you are greeted at the door, The afternoon tea and homemade chocolate cake when you arrive in the afternoon will be memorable long after you leave. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The location is amazing, looking out onto Dingle Bay is mesmerizing. The breakfast , the homemade fresh breakfast you are greeted with in the morning, you will relive that for years. All of th is is why we returned to Heatons . It is why we tell all our friends and family it is a can’t miss stay if you are in Ireland. Your stay in Dingle will be unforgettable.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband in August, i don't do B&B's normally, BUT this is one very special place, it is immaculately clean everywhere, the room we stayed in was as per the photo on the website, rare. The bed was one of the most comfortable i have ever slept in,spotlessly clean, crisp white linen, beautiful soft towels that actually wrap around you, the shower was amazing.
The breakfast room is pristine, the tables have white linen cloths changed after each use, the peaceful atmosphere at breakfast is so relaxing, very calm, no shouting or banging from the kitchen bliss, & then the menu for breakfast ,omg, the granola cocktail & eggs benedict i could have eaten it for breakfast , lunch & dinner the staff in the breakfast room Alma & Joe are an asset to Heatons they go about the room with such calmness & so courteous, nothing is too much trouble. The location is great also , park up the car & stroll down to the town 6 to 7 minute walk. This a gem of a B&B, i cannot wait to return, if only you did dinner too now that would be amazing, look forward to returning soon.

I have stayed in Heaton’s many times throughout the years and it is always a pleasure to spend time with David and his very professional staff. From the moment you arrive you know you are in for a treat - the chocolate cake in the afternoon is always greatly anticipated and never disappoints. The welcoming atmosphere, the lovely decor and very comfortable bedrooms ensure that one’s stay will be relaxing and will offer a great base for walking and touring in west Kerry. But, the highlight of every trip to Heaton’s is the delicious and sumptuous breakfast. It is an experience not to be missed - a treat for the eyes, but most especially for the taste buds - cooked and served by a top-class staff. I can’t wait for my next visit.

We visit Heatons at least twice a year and every time it’s better than the last! Between the setting, food and warm welcome from David it’s one of our favourite places to spend time with our kids, family or on our own for a get away weekend. The rooms are always spotless with the most comfortable beds guaranteeing a great nights sleep. The proximity to Dingle town centre means you are in walking distance to the brilliant choice of bars and restaurants. It’s real home from home with the addition of an amazing breakfast menu that you want to order everything from!

The guest house is beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained both in the guest rooms and the common areas. The full breakfast (included in the price) is absolutely delicious...lots of variety with homemade items on linen-topped tables and delivered by well-trained servers in a bright and airy dining room overlooking the water. The location is on the "quiet" end of town but within walking distance of all of the restaurants, pubs and stores. David is a welcoming host with lots of good suggestions for dinner reservations. Heaton's Guesthouse is a perfect choice for your visit to the Dingle peninsula. Highly recommended. Great value. And don't miss the homemade, delicious chocolate cake, tea and coffee served every afternoon at 3:30 in the lobby!

My wife and I spent five amazing nights at Heaton's Guesthouse to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Our room and the hotel were elegantly appointed, with every detail attended to. We particularly loved that candles were lit every morning and evening in the spacious and comfortable sitting room on the first floor. David and his staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. David's recommendations for dining and local adventures were spot on, and he was always happy to answer our questions, both before and during our visit. The rest of the staff were welcoming and delivered incredible service with warm smiles. The breakfast was simply outstanding! This is truly a first class accommodation and we whole heartedly would recommend to anyone venturing to the beautiful Dingle Peninsula. We will certainly be back!

The accommodations at Heaton's guest house were superb. David (the owner) and his staff provide beautiful spotless rooms with very comfortable beds. He and his staff cook the most wonderful breakfast every morning. The food is all homemade and the variety is amazing. The view from the house is the Dingle Harbor area and the walk to town is 5- 10 minutes. You are even greeted with homemade chocolate cake when you arrive and an overview of the area. This is a wonderful place to stay for a great night's sleep for 1 night or for a week or more to enjoy all the sites of the Dingle peninsula.

Heatons is a fabulous guesthouse, with unbelievable attention to detail. The breakfast is out of this world, with two pages of menu items to choose from. The Eggs Benedict and Baked Swiss Cheese Omelette were particularly delicious and the rhubarb granola dish was superb. Looking out at the sea while enjoying freshly baked chocolate cake in the lobby area every evening was a lovely way to relax after a busy day exploring the locality. Our bedroom was beautiful, with a huge bed, bathrobes and slippers, White Company toiletries, powerful shower and separate bath. Heatons staff are very friendly and professional. There is plenty of parking available, and the town of Dingle is about 10 minutes walk away. I cannot recommend Heatons highly enough and I look forward to returning again in the future.

Such a lovely place! Staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The breakfast buffet and cooked breakfast were absolutely incredible and we loved the afternoon chocolate cake and tea! The dining room and sitting room have amazing views of Dingle Bay. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Easy to get to, on-site parking is good and it’s a short (10 minute) and easy walk to Dingle Town from the guesthouse. Also a short drive to attractions on the Dingle Peninsula. Would definitely stay here again!

Yes, there would be several options for your friend for I cooked breakfast. They had beautiful open face omelette with cheese, and fresh spinach I believe. There was also a lovely selection of fresh and cooked fruit and local cheeses on the continental breakfast side board. You will have a wonderful time there. Heaton’s is just a fabulous place to stay!

No, no self serve laundry. I am sure if needed, the lovely owners who bend over backward to help their guests, could provide directions to one.
