Myself and my wife and our two friends stayed here for 5 nights at the end of July. We had read all the positive reviews and there is no denying that our expectations were high (especially in relation to the much hyped breakfast). We were greeted upon arrival by the owner David who showed us the dining room and then to our rooms. We were also offered chocolate cake and tea. The hotel is immaculate and our rooms were spotless. There was absolutely nothing that could be faulted in the room. The breakfast room was like the rest of the hotel, spotlessly clean and elegant. It was now time to see what all the fuss was about! The breakfast menu is extensive with starters that would not be out of place as desserts in a five star hotel. The “bread and butter pudding” with warm rhubarb and mascaponi cheese was to die for. I followed that with the morning special of scallops on black pudding on toasted sourdough bread …. can you believe this was for breakfast!!!! This meal was far superior to many evening meals i have eaten in hotels that consider themselves 5 star. As there were four of us we chose a variety of dishes over the 5 mornings and each one not only lived up to expectations …. but exceeded them. The reviews we had read were correct, Heatons serves the best breakfast in the country. Over the years we have stayed in a number of very nice hotels, both in Ireland and abroad but none of them would surpass this establishment for breakfast. A special mention also to the wonderful staff who were attentive, efficient and helpful with queries should you be looking for ideas about what to do or where to go in the area. If you intend staying in Dingle check out availability in Heatons first, if there are vacancies then book in, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely loved our family trip to this super B&B. We were welcomed on arrival and were advised what restaurants to visit. We came back in the evening after dinner and the adults were able to have a drink This is a great idea because when you have children they can watch TV while we can have a drink. David and his staff are brilliant and so accommodating. We will be back again next year. Breakfasts are amazing

Room Tip: The crepes are delicious and the granola and rhubarb were our favourite.

We stayed for just one night in Heatons wonderful guesthouse, wish it could have been longer. We had two beautiful rooms, sumptuous carpets, bathrobes and slippers, chocolates on our comfy pillows. Heatons is just a tiny walk from the centre of Dingle town, so perfect for a night of enjoying the pubs and restaurants! We all slept soundly and woke to the incredible view across Dingle Bay, on one of the sunniest mornings of the Summer. After a mini stroll, we went to breakfast in the large elegantly decorated ( and extremely well ventilated) dining room. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous! Freshly squeezed juices, granola with rhubarb, greek yoghurt and honey, yum! Then followed by fantastic scrambled eggs with local smoked salmon, also freshly baked croissants, and delicious breads, and divine warm from the oven scones with jam abundant with berries! I have been here before and I will definitely be back!

David Heaton and team were warm, professional and so accommodating to us. We were greeted by David and while we were waiting for our room to be ready, we were offered the most awaited chocolate cake with a dash of cream. David then showed us around and took us to our room. Breathtaking view, beautiful wall paintings 🖼 , cosy bath and crisp linen. We had the day’s dinner , never tried sole before- very delicious and we also had salmon. Breakfast for the next two days we amazing- just like everyone vouch and appreciate highly. Real good service, we got we wanted. Yummlicious pancakes and french toast. A must try breakfast, not so secret I went there specifically for the award winning breakfast and stay. We will definitely be back. Location is 5 star and so is this family owned business with their rich history and culture.

David Heaton and his team work really hard to ensure guests at this B&B/hotel have a fantastic stay. The location overlooking Dingle Bay is idyllic, its a short stroll away to Dingle town. The rooms are spotless, luxurious and well equipped. The standard of the food is first class. The famous breakfasts may be equalled elsewhere, but no where that I've ever stayed. The extensive menu is mouth watering (there are a choice of 7 different omelettes) and nothing disappointed over our 4 day stay. Can't recommend Heatons highly enough, if you're going to dingle, treat yourself, stay there.
