Detailed Reviews
We pre booked, stated that myself, my husband and our 1.5 year old would be arriving. Received an email 24hrs before arrival stating that due to extra Covid cleaning measures, check in would be 'a little after 4pm' which is great of course but also a massive inconvenience!
Requested a cot in the room which was not there but was happily given when asked. We were put in a room on the ground floor facing the road. The noise of the cars if the windows are open is more than annoying.
The room itself had 5 beds (1 double, 2 singles and a bunk bed) this made it difficult to place the cot. We were told on check in that the room next door was a group of lads on a nightout and 'don't be afraid to complain if they're too loud' - I'm baffled why we were even placed in this room!
The curtains are black out but don't reach the end of the window so about 2 inches of sunlight is glaring at you at 5am. The bathroom was amazing and very modern but there was no bath as promised in the room description when booking.
The electric radiator on the wall was loose and would topple (but stay attached to the wall) everytime the small fella touched it.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is ideal to get to Dingle town - just a 10min walk away as well as a Lidl less than 2 minutes away.
It's grand I suppose but I do feel a bit ripped off for the price I paid - €152 inc breakfast for 2 for 1 night. I'll probably look a bit harder next time to be honest.

We stayed in the Hillgrove for 2 nights. The accomodation is very central with just a 7 minute walk to the town which was great that we didn’t have to drive everywhere. The breakfast was brilliant, due to Covid 19 there was no buffet but this was subsidised with a menu which you could choose from a wide range of options. The staff were great, really helpful and attentive. The only downfall I would say is the rooms are slightly outdated especially compared to the bathroom which was amazing and very modern. But all in all I would happily stay here again 😊

Stayed here on Saturday night with my daughter. We were met by Stephen on arrival who immediately started in with the craic. A very nice welcome.
Beautiful fresh modern room, with comfy beds and bedding. Plenty pillows, which can sometimes be an issue! Gorgeous walk in shower and the bathroom mirror had an LED light which my daughter appreciated very much! :-D :-D There were Tea/Coffee making facilities, with a coffee machine, in the room.
The TV in the room also had Netflix available by using your own log in details which would be very handy, i'd imagine, for families travelling with children and they needed to pass the time for an hour on a rainy day.
After walking around Dingle town, which is only about a 10 minute stroll, we returned to the guesthouse bar where Sean made us delicious cocktails.
The following morning we had breakfast, a full Irish and Waffles with Bacon and Maple Syrup. Delicious!!
It really is the perfect guesthouse. Much nicer accommodation than some hotels we've stayed in. We'll definitely be back in the near future.

Having read reviews and seen pictures online I had hoped for a modern experience but for
€140 per couple for B&B I was massively underwhelmed.
The rooms are quite basic in appearance and the bed is dire , sinking in the middle.
I can see that the bathrooms have been modernised but the decor on the bedroom was very basic albeit I believe it had a smart TV which you could use to view Netflix etc. using your own login details.
The heating in the bedroom is one electric heater and when switched off for a small while the room gets quite cold but you can’t leave it on as you sleep because of the incessant clicking noise.
The girls serving breakfast ( served up to 10am , departure of rooms by 11am) were professional and on top of their jobs but my cooked breakfast was v average.
Overall I was disappointed and it left a feeling of poor value for money.

Was definitely hoping for more from this place…
Very modern looking, the room was clean and bathroom fantastic !
The free parking is also always good.
Now the downside… Breakfast was sad, the orange juice was not drinkable, the lady in charge of the breakfast seemed uninterested in getting people sat down and fed.
Wifi was also a mistery, 3 different wifis to chose from but none reached my room (which was right by reception)

Room was modern, looked recently renovated. Very clean. Hairdryer, toiletries, water bottles and tea/coffee all in the room. Staff were friendly. We didnt eat at the accomodation so cant comment on that. Accomodation is a short walk to the centre of Dingle

Had a beautiful couple of days in the Hillgrove Hotel. Lovely clean hotel, excellent, friendly, helpful staff who made our stay so enjoyable. The hotel has a lovely quiet location but yet only a short walk to all the shops and pubs of the town and also has ample parking. Highly recommend the hot breakfast with a great variety of choices expertly cooked coupled with great service from the staff each morning. Our room was very clean and the bathroom had a fantastic shower .We will definitely stay again as it’s a great base for exploring the Dingle area.Well done to all working there again.. Great value for money.

We have been traveling through Ireland for over a week and have booked an overnight stay for the same amount. This location was disappointing: the room is dirty, the bathroom is moldy, the smart TV is inaccessible, the carpet is filthy, there is no atmosphere whatsoever and the photos do not match reality. There is no bar or anything like that, not even a night staff. The only thing that is correct is the parking.

Our stay at the guesthouse was amazing and I would definitely recommend going here. We can't wait to go back and stay with them again! The breakfast was made to order and exceeds expectations. The staff was super accommodating and made our stay extra special. The location of the guesthouse was great, with everything you could need within walking distance.
There is also a club/late night bar on premises which seems like it will be a great place to go over the weekend, as we were visiting during the week it was quiet and perfect for us considering we were a family travelling together.

The staff were exceptional, specially Steven. The room is spacious and clean. Well located b&b with good breakfast and plenty of options. They also helped planning our sightseeing in the city with good options of pub dining

Breakfast is included. I am not a fan of the full irish breakfast so I don't know if it
is included but I would imagine that it is.
Hi I looking for 2 familys rooms;
1×double +2 singles bads
2×singles beds
Any available at 24-25july
It's more like a hotel/motel than a b&b so I think that you should easily find the amount of rooms; however, we heard that they fill up on weekends. Your dates should be fine. I'd advise, as others, that you contact them directly.
