Just back from a mini family break at the Skellig and am reminded of just how good a hotel this is, its the quintessential warm Irish welcome, it was great to get back there. Hotel is in great shape, interconnecting rooms worked perfectly and kids pretty much had a private pool due to booking system, lovely dinner and as always a super team minding us. Have to say breakfast sitting looking out at the sea with sun blinding us (Manager appeared out of nowhere and adjusted the blind to allow full enjoyment of view!) was just magical. That view and again great food and friendly service set us up for the day. Plenty to do in the town and area, a really great hotel - we will be back!

We stayed in the Skeilig Hotel Dingle in September. The staff were very friendly and Caren in reception went out of her way to mark our engagement by upgrading us to a gorgeous room and also sent us a bottle of champagne. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again.

This was a sister catch up for 3 of us and 2 children on a two-night break. The suites were beautiful, very spacious and the view over the harbour from the Junior Suite was just breathtaking. There was a big cosy chair by the window to absorb the view in the morning over coffee. Fungi Kid's club was quiet at the time we stayed but it didn't matter. The children received full undivided attention from the lovely staff looking after them. Activities such as paper plane making and pasta art was a huge hit! And a hit for the adults too while we relaxed with a delicious meal in the bar. Evening two and we availed of the pool. The kids pool was great with the jacuzzi (bubble) corner! And the waterfall area. We dined in the Coastguard restaurant and every morsel of food was superb. The fish dishes are an absolute must. Compliments to the chef for the fantastic John Dory special with coconut and mild spices. Amazing. All of the food was absolutely gorgeous, including breakfast - served in the restaurant with a backdrop view over the harbour. The choices on the cold buffet were really good - especially the individually wrapped cheese and bread rolls. Hot breakfast orders were taken at the table and all of us really enjoyed our choices. In these very challenging times for the hospitality industry, Dingle Skellig Hotel have superb procedures in place. Particularly impressed I was by the notice in the room advising that no staff member will be entering our rooms during our stay and items such as towels etc. are available upon request. At all times we felt very safe and secure. We didn't use the peninsula spa but it is on the list for next time when we return. A special mention to Breda who organised all aspects our journey and beautiful rooms. It was a true delight to spend our weekend in this special part of West Kerry. Well done to everyone. We will be back! And just to top it off before departure, do try to take the time to go on the coast walk from the hotel. The pathway is through a cow pasture with the ocean on the right had side. In wet weather wellies are advised. The walkway takes you to Hussey's Folly (tower ruins) as explained to us by the team from Dingle boat tours. Then the lighthouse is a short distance after that - about 2-3 km round trip in total. There is no entrance to the lighthouse but it is a lovely stroll amidst beautiful coastline and perfect after availing of all the fabulous dining in Dingle Skellig. Thanks, team, for an ideal family holiday! Evelyn, Margaret, Eva, Millie & Oscar

We are just back from a week in the dingle Skelligs holiday cottages. We had a fantastic week in dingle, the hotel were very accommodating despite all the restrictions. We stayed to ourselves and went to see the sights of the beautiful peninsula. The cottages give you great privacy while having the use of the hotel facilities too. Cannot recommend the staff enough. Just as a note, the cottages and the hotel are a 15 minite walk from each other. We will be back some day and thanks for everything.
