This was a return visit, after a great experience last year. Standards remain very very high at Barr na sRaide and we would highly recommend.

We were a trio and booked a triple room, it was airy and spotlessly clean, with extremely comfortable and well-spaced beds.

The location is ideal, just a minutes walk from all the bars, restaurants and bustle but the location means that you will get a peaceful nights sleep and avail of on-site parking.

Breakfast was fresh and tasty, the bar and dining areas are recently modernised and everything felt fresh, spotless and very safe in terms of Covid-compliance.

Best of all was the friendly and traditional hospitality from Paddy and her family / team. This was such a treat after so long away from hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble, they generously assisted us with an additional parking request and answered some questions we had about travel to Great Blasket Island. I have already booked again for August and am looking forward to returning.

Stayed here over the weekend - it’s in a great location in the centre of Dingle with free parking at the back of it. The lady at reception who checked us in was very welcoming and the room was lovely, clean and modern. As it says it’s a B&B we had thought that breakfast was included but actually you have to pay extra for breakfast at the property! When I knew this I thought it was a little over priced for just one nights stay and no breakfast. The man who checked us out the next day was quite rude, I was actually taken aback by it! Maybe it was just a bad day.

Stayed here with a large group in Feb 2020. The place was recently upgraded and everything is spotless. The rooms are very big and comfortable and even though there was a few large groups staying, we couldn't hear a peep at night. Lovely breakfast both mornings. The staff are very helpful, even dropped us off at the Distillery tour as we were running late. Excellent bar also on the premises, was tough to leave it! Will definitely be back, would be perfect location for couples also

Stayed in this B&B on the 29/07/22…. First i have to say the place was clean and recently renovated and the location is good and the car parking at the rear was safe and secure. My complaint stems from an incident with the fire alarm in the room. The fire/smoke detector was located 3 feet from the bathroom door and I had just turned on the shower to leave it warm up while I undressed. The steam from the shower then caused the fire alarm to go off which caused me to run to try and clear the steam from the detector head with a towel… the alarm then fell silent and I proceeded to take my shower. However as I was having my shower I heard the room door open and someone come in to our room. I actually thought it was my fiancé coming back in from the car but then I heard the door close again. It was not until breakfast that I found out it was the manager who had decided to take the liberty of leaving herself into the room which she proceeded to tell us while we were trying to have our breakfast. I felt she was trying to insinuate that we had been smoking in the room and was cold in nature towards us. I believe she left herself in hoping to get a handy fine off us for smoking in the room when In fact it was the idiotic placement of the detector head next to the bathroom door that caused the alarm to be set off. We found this to very intrusive and made us feel like our privacy had been invaded.
The second issue I have is that the breakfast was advertised as a full Irish breakfast including mushrooms…. Instead I got a single small withered mushroom split into 4 slices. It was hardly worth putting it on the plate.
On checkout the man at the desk also treated me with a cold shoulder not even saying thank you for our custom as if the other female staff member had been gossiping about us with the other staff telling a fairytale that she had concocted in her own head. I wouldn’t have thought anything of the way the man treated me only for the invasive nature of the first woman and the fact two other female staff members came over to look at us during breakfast time as If we were some sort of side show. Like I said it was a clean place in a good location but some staff may need education on manors and privacy.

Stayed at Barr Na Sraide this past weekend and it was excellent. The location is perfect, right in the center of town and there is free parking at the rear. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and feel newly designed and decorated, and the bed is very comfortable. The owners put a lot of attention to detail, and it shows. The front bar is a great place for a drink and chat and has a lively atmosphere. The owners, Patricia and Daithi, are incredibly welcoming and make sure everyone is looked after. Will definitely be staying here again on my next Dingle holiday. Thanks Patricia and Daithi and everyone at Barr Na Sraide.

Myself and 4 friends stayed in one room with five single beds last Saturday and had an amazing stay. The room was gorgeous and very clean. Check in was easy and all COVID guidelines were in place. Everyone was lovely in the hotel and were made feel very welcome. Ideal location for anyone staying in dingle I can’t recommend Barr Na Sraide Inn highly enough.

I stayed at this delightful B&B with four other friends of mine for a one night trip to Dingle. The location was perfect, right in the centre of Dingle but away from the major amenities so you can easily escape the busyness of the town, if needs be. The staff were nothing short of delightful. They were welcoming and super helpful. Our room was immaculate and very spacious, considering there were five of us! All Covid-19 guidelines were implemented and adhered to throughout our stay which was extremely reassuring. Overall, I would strongly recommend Barr Na Sraide Inn.

The attic room we were given looked like a modern renovated sleeper car in a train. NOT worth the astronomical price we payed. It’s important avoid any of the top floor rooms (they don’t have sufficient space). The lower level rooms looked fine. There were lackluster or non existent amenities such as no kettle, coffee/tea, cups, water. No space to lay luggage. The TV was placed in a non visible location because there was literally no wall space to set it anywhere else. Half of the room was disrupted by an attic wall, making it too small to stand up straight (claustrophobic). On the other hand, the staff was nice and breakfast was included if booked in person. None of these issues were stated online or in person so I feel it is important to make others aware before spending what we did. Clearly they renovated recently but we don’t have to be the ones to pay for it. All around cheap and left us with a disappointed feeling in dingle.

Barr Na Sraide Inn is well located within walking distance of many restaurants and pubs in Dingle, yet is far enough away that late night noise from pubs isn't problematic. Our double room was a bit disappointing in that it seemed smaller than suggested by the photos on the property's website. On one side, there was barely enough room to get around the bed. There was no place other than the limited open floor space for storage of luggage, and no place other than the floor for storage of the five (5!) decorative pillows. However, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious; there was ample shelf space. The room was immaculate and in excellent repair. The entire property seemed to have been recently updated.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of options and gracious service. The WiFi worked well. There is a convenient car park behind the property. There is no AC, but none was needed during our September stay.

I can't blame the owners for the guests next door who made a very noisy midnight arrival, but their subsequent conversations established that the walls of this old building are thin and do not block sound.

Despite the solid location, great breakfast and great service, the small, inconveniently arranged room prevents me from giving this property an excellent rating.

I'm not sure if there are rooms on the ground floor. I don't believe there is a lift. I suggest you email them directly.

I also did and I had a single room which is some cases would not have a private bathroom so I would imagine every room has a private bathroom if the single rooms do.
