Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Barr Na Sraide Inn is well located within walking distance of many restaurants and pubs in Dingle, yet is far enough away that late night noise from pubs isn't problematic. Our double room was a bit disappointing in that it seemed smaller than suggested by the photos on the property's website. On one side, there was barely enough room to get around the bed. There was no place other than the limited open floor space for storage of luggage, and no place other than the floor for storage of the five (5!) decorative pillows. However, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious; there was ample shelf space. The room was immaculate and in excellent repair. The entire property seemed to have been recently updated. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of options and gracious service. The WiFi worked well. There is a convenient car park behind the property. There is no AC, but none was needed during our September stay. I can't blame the owners for the guests next door who made a very noisy midnight arrival, but their subsequent conversations established that the walls of this old building are thin and do not block sound. Despite the solid location, great breakfast and great service, the small, inconveniently arranged room prevents me from giving this property an excellent rating.

Our stay at the Barre na Sraide was amazing. We checked in through a little pub that we originally walked by, but the bar tender, Mark, saw us an guided us in. The room had 4 single beds which was awesome for our group. The breakfast was great and the beer at the pub was phenomenal. Stores, peer, and shopping all within walking distance.

This was a good home base for visiting Dingle. The inn is modern and comfortable. The breakfast is good (both full and continental are available), served by an accommodating staff. It was quite walkable from everything in town. It was in the quieter end of town. I had no problem carrying luggage to hotel from bus stop (5 minutes), but some people might want to beware that the hotel is at the top of a steep hill that may trouble you if you pack heavy or don’t have wheeled luggage. I would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you!

From the moment I walked in for a chilled glass of wine , I immediately felt a sincere warm welcome from the owner paddy. I was blown away by her enthusiasm to make you feel special. All the rooms have been newly renovated-My en suite room was beautiful, airy and squeaky clean with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is an amazing array of fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, yogurts and then you are offered the best cooked irish breakfast in town ( and I’ve had many) ! The internet was excellent and there is private parking. There was live music in the bar in the evening, the atmosphere was amazing and made you feel so at home . Thank you for having me Paddy . I highly recommend staying here - you won’t be disappointed! Julie Day

The is a great family run B&B with a great breakfast. Patricia is one of the owners and has a great sense of humor The B&B is very clean and the rooms are very comfortable. It is within easy distance of all the bars and restaurants and has a parking lot out back for free. Best of all, it has a pub attached! Highly recommend. You will also here the owners and staff speaking Irish so this is the real deal - no cookie cutter hotel.

We were greeted by the owner upon arrival. She helped us park in their back lot, finding us a spot. Our room was so nicely appointed: queen bed and single. It was a very large room with a sitting area and desk. It had great cubbies for our suitcases and hanging (which I rarely see when traveling). There was an awesome, large bathroom with a skylight and plenty of room for toiletries. The breakfast was really great, having delicious gluten-free options for me. Although we didn’t sit down for a drink, the inside bar was really nice. The location was PERFECT! Close to everything, but not noisy at all! If you have a lot of suitcases, be sure to be ready to climb steps if your room is on the upper floor. That’s the only minor issue I can see. We loved Dingle and this inn. I’d love to come back and stay longer.

We stayed overnight at this lovely Inn at the top of town which offered plentiful off street parking. We received a warm welcome accompanied by classic Irish craic from the hostess of the establishment - a real diamond! Our room was small but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good although the breakfast room itself was quite small and windowless. Good location - easy to walk to the plentiful pubs and restaurants and the nearby waterfront.

Very cozy room but we were not planning on anything but sleep there so we were satisfied. Check in was easy and the person that checked is in was very affable and friendly. Parkin if was easy but was accessed through a very narrow gate. It was close to shopping and the waterfront . Breakfast was typical for Ireland and included in room rate
