Enjoy your stay in Dingle!
We felt perfectly at home, but with the privacy we enjoy. The view of the harbor from our room was second to none. One evening, we sat on the lawn and watched the boats on the water, the birds and played with the friendly neighborhood cat. The breakfasts were filling and delicious, and Michael out host was attentive, friendly and informative. It was a positively halcyon experience.
I recently stayed at Clonmara as part of a Rick Steves 14 day Best of Ireland tour. By far, Clonmara was my favorite place to stay. The hosts, Blandina and Michael, were so welcoming and friendly, the B&B was immaculate, the views and grounds were beautiful, and the breakfast served was delicious. If you are going to be in Dingle, stay at Clonmara. You will love it!
As part of a Rick Steve's Heart of Ireland Tour led by Dingle native, Dara H., I was delighted to stay at Clonmara for 3 nights in mid-June of 2017. Barlinda and Michael were wonderful hosts and the location right on Dingle Bay was beautiful! The gardens were lovingly tended and the breakfasts served were extraordinarily beautiful in their presentation as well as filling and delicious! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom quite spacious. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but still within walking distance of all that Dingle has to offer. I loved Dingle and hope to return someday. If and when I do, I will stay at Clonmara again!
On a recent trip to Ireland we stayed at many beautiful B & B’s. Clonmara in Dingle was by far the best. If I could give this place, ten stars, I would. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds and linens very comfortable. Bathroom and shower felt like I was in a spa. I also have to note, they had the best hair dryer. Blandina and Michael were excellent hosts. They couldn’t do enough to make our vacation memorable. Breakfast was not only delicious, but was presented with an artistic flare. Although humble, Blandina is a talented artist, as was evident by the numerous oils donning the walls of her home. The gardens that surround the house are gorgeous. This I was told is credited to Michael. We enjoyed our time at this fine B & B, taking walks and…
We were recently on a Rick Steves tour in June. Our guide Dara placed us here and we absolutely loved it! Dingle is truly my favorite place in Ireland ! Blandina was so welcoming! She was sure to set up early coffee so we could sit and enjoy the view before breakfast ! Maureen & Andrew New Hampshire
We stayed three nights at Clonmara in a lovely room overlooking Dingle Bay. The facility was incredibly clean, the beds comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Lots of choices for a GOURMET breakfast! A short walk from downtown Dingle.
Great place to stay with a beautiful view. Breakfast was outstanding with many choices, and the owners were very nice and accommodating. Room was very comfortable. It is an easy walk into town and a short cab ride back if it is late at night. Highly recommended.
Really liked this B and B , great location, very friendly service and clean rooms with loads of space , breakfast was very nice also ! Made the stay in Dingle very nice for us ! We will def be back here again
My family of ten were part of Rick Steve's tour in Ireland. We were so fortunate to have Stephen as our guide throughout but he has a very special love for Dingle where Miltown House and Clonmara B&Bs are situated. Since our family was large, we had rooms in Clonmara and we couldn't have been happier. Irish people seemed so friendly, fun, and welcoming and our hosts at Clonmara were exceptional examples. We were earnest listeners to their personal histories, their family, tales of Dingle, and Irish history. We absolutely would return again and hope someday to do so. The tour also provided a lovely dinner at Miltown House (next door) and we had several drinks and Irish tales at the Robert Mitchum bar. One of the bakers there did a demonstration of how to make scones and…
Great view, great food, great location, great hostess. No kidding Blandina is the perfect hostess. From my first breakfast I felt like I was staying with a good friend. Please give her a B&B a try. You will not regret it!
