We had a family get together for the June Bank holiday weekend to celebrate missed milestone birthdays, retirement, etc. There was 7 of us in total and we were all extremely impressed with the house.
The rooms were spotless and the ensuites were very clean.
There was a lot of little extras supplied that we had not expected in a rented house:
Toiletries in the bathrooms.
Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, kitchen was very well equipped, even down to a weighing scales and bun tray.
In the fridge they had left us ice, butter, wine, milk. Such a nice surprise.
There was also chocolates, tea, coffee, sugar, mini kelloggs cereals, crackers.
We saw the deers and rabbits every day outside and from the downstairs bedroom window you can get a very close look at the deer as they come right next to the house.
It is only a short drive to the town of Kenmare. We had to make do with takeaways as Covid restrictions were still in place. Roma Pizza was beautiful, authentic pizzas. Lilly's Chinese was also delicious and well worth a try. Maison Gourmet do excellent coffees and pastries.

The manager, Jim, was extremely helpful and went through everything with us. He made sure that we had all we needed and he even dropped up a sun umbrella for outside. He is a credit to Sheen Falls.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in one of the Courtyard Houses for a week over the Christmas period. The house was comfortable warm and very well equipped. It provided everything that was promised and we had a very special week which included cooking a full Christmas dinner. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Courtyard for a winter break. A special mention to Jim who very helpful and always available.

Lovely stay in the Courtyard. A little hard to find as it is not signposted from the road - they could easily fix that with a simple sign. The accommodation is very nice (although well overdue a fresh coat of paint throughout the house). Fully fitted kitchen as you would have at home. Very comfortable beds and 2 Super King beds is very nice to get comfortable in. We had a balcony view onto the Sheen River and saw a deer from there one day. It does feel like you have a view onto Nature itself. There are horses in the back field, and you can go across to the Sheen Falls Hotel and see the beautiful Sheen Falls that the hotel looks onto. Its just a few mins from Kenmare, which is lovely town along the Ring of Kerry. They did not bother us at all during our stay, and check-in and out was very easy. There is a small playground for the kids also. Its a home from home. Worth the money, but would recommend the painting of the interior to the owners, to keep the house in great looking shape!

Really high standard of accommodation, will probably stay here again and the town of Kenmare is just so lovely, glad to have based ourselves here, easy drive to Glengarriff, Sneem and not too far to Killarney for a day out. Take a walk behind the property(behind the reception area) that leads to the river, keep going for about 20 mins to see some beautiful river views, a secret gem, we met no one on our walk. The only negative to this place is you aren’t allowed use the pool at the Sheen Falls hotel, the weather was so good it didn’t bother us but it would be nice to have this as an option on a rainy day, strangely you can use other sister hotels Maritime Bantry and The Gleneagle pools but not Sheen Falls, both are a bit far just for a swim. In summary a lovely relaxing place, just a few mins drive to the town.

We stayed here for two nights this week. We were a party of 4 (my parents, me and my husband.) The house was fantastic! Really big for a holiday house, three bedrooms and three bathrooms upstairs, kitchen, living and dining area and downstairs toilet. We had a lovely view over the river and a terrace outside with garden furniture. It was super well equipped and it was a lovely touch being left milk, butter, cereal etc. Very nicely furnished and decorated. Lots of parking available. It’s a bit out of Kenmare but that means it’s lovely and quiet. We loved it here and can’t wait to return!

We spent a week here...thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Clean and welcoming with lovely views and exceptionally comfortable king size beds.Balcony upstairs overlooking beautiful countryside and river.
A few very minor points...
The TV is small with limited channels.
The downstairs sofas are a little uncomfortable.
However we would definitely return and I would recommend these lovely holiday homes to friends.

Stayed for 3 nights. Our house was a great size for a family of 4. It was clean, quiet and well equipped. My only gripe is that there was only one bulb working in the bathroom and the chefs knives were so blunt as to be useless for cooking. Other than that, great

We stayed in mountain view house 13 for 2 nights. Jim was very accommodating which was a bonus. Welcome pack on arrival which included red wine, chocolates, milk, and cereal. The house is finished to the highest standard with plenty of outside space too. All rooms are ensuite, with toiletries provided. Fire was set for whenever we wanted to light it. Everyone was hugely impressed, and we had a fab base for the weekend. This was also great value for money. We booked again for next year.

We stayed here last week and it was wonderful. We had friends who had stayed here back in March and recommended it. It was their favorite place that they stayed on their trip to Ireland, and it was for us as well.

The kitchen was large and clean with everything you could possibly need. Dishes, glasses, utensils were clean and in excellent condition.

Bathrooms were updated and clean. We were an extended family of 6 and we had no issues with hot water. It was great to have all the bathrooms en suite -- this worked well with our group.

The townhomes are located a short drive from Kenmare so it was very easy to get there to go to restaurants or the grocery store.

Our kids are older and loved having their own space, but if you have younger kids, there is a great courtyard for them to play in.

I would definitely stay here again and would recommend staying here to any other friends traveling to Ireland and looking for a great place to use as a base to tour around SW Ireland.

This place was very clean and comfortable and had plenty of room for 5 of us. The washing machine/dryer was a bonus because we were at the end of a long trip and needed to wash some clothes. The woman who checked us in explained how to use it, which we really appreciated as the machine was very different from what we use at home in the US. We were greeted with chocolate and wine, and there was fresh bread and tea in the kitchen as well. The courtyard was very nice - younger kids seemed to enjoy running around on the grass and playing in the small playground. I would recommend this to any family with young kids who wants to stay in Kenmare. We loved Kenmare and it was a very short drive from Sheen Falls to the center of town. You can park near your unit so it is easy to transport luggage, etc. We even walked to town a few times, (it is about a mile). Be careful, though - for the first half of the walk (or more) there were no sidewalks so it could be a bit dangerous, especially with kids. The one downside to this property was that the wifi in our unit did not work well. We were on the end unit (#15) so perhaps it was far from the router? Our friends who stayed in the unit next door had much better wifi, so we were able to go to their place for better service. The other thing I wanted to mention is that the people who work here are very helpful and accommodating.

I would have given 5 stars but for the wifi issue.
