We were able to jog from the B&B without the worry of traffic killing us. Kenmare is a picturesque town. The food was good, but the very best part was that, after asking where the laundromat was, Daniela offered to do our laundry. We paid her of course, but this was wonderful because the public washers and dryers are located, outside, in a gas station parking lot and it was rainy weather. This also allowed us to not have to spend hours waiting for clothes to wash/dry. This was a great find!

I stayed at Laburnum B&B in October with my family of eight and we had a beautiful stay with the hosts. The house itself is gorgeous and the rooms are just what we needed after staying in multiple Air B n Bs up until that point of our stay. The breakfasts in the morning were delicious and the house is situated in a perfect location, just a short 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Kenmare. Would highlight recommend this stay to families and couples alike.

Laburnum House is an excellent base for touring the Wild Atlantic Way and the Beara peninsular and Ring of Kerry. The B&B is 10 minutes walk from Kenmare centre with its excellent choice of pubs and restaurants. Daniela and Raymond are lovely hosts making you feel very welcome. The facilities were extremely clean and of a high quality. You are set up for the day with a lovely breakfast in a very pleasant dining room. Thoroughly recommended and advised to book early as very popular.

We stayed in room 4 for two nights, a large modern room with a huge ensuite with large bath and walk-in shower. The owners are delightful and go out of their way to ensure you are happy. There is free, secure parking on-site and it is a flat 10 minute walk to the charming town centre full of Irish pubs and other eateries. Breakfast is comprehensive hot and cold. Highly recommended!
