Noreen was a brilliant and attentive host who advised us on some lovely places to visit. You can tell that there is genuine care and attention from the hosts.

We stayed 3 nights - the room was perfect, of hotel standard, very spacious, comfortable beds, and very clean. There was plenty of hand sanitiser at entrances and in rooms and all social distancing/cleanliness was completely adhered to.

The breakfast was delicious with a varied choice. You could eat your breakfast outside with a lovely view of the bay or inside which was comfortable and homely feeling. Tea and coffee were available at all times.

The guesthouse is a short walk to Kenmare centre no more than 10 mins. There is plenty of parking space in-front of the b&b.

Overall it was a place that allowed you to feel at home, away from home. A great base for anyone looking to explore the county of Kerry. Kenmare is beautiful.

We look forward to returning soon!

Thanks a million Noreen,
Ciara C and Colin M

It is simply perfect.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
The beds are like heaven. The breakfast is delicious and gives you enough energy for the day - Watersedge is the ideal place to start your trip to Killarney National Park, the Ring of Kerry or the Ring of Beara.
Noreen is simply wonderful. She makes you feel like home and has great advice for your trips.

And as if all of this is not enough, while having breakfast you can look at the sea and Carrauntoohill.

We recently spent 3 nights at Watersedge. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. Ask for a water view. Breakfasts were delicious and the innkeeper, Noreen, was a wonderful host and was quite helpful in helping us plan our day trips. Kenmare is a lovely town and recommend staying there instead of Killarney.

Fantastic location with amazing views & a simple stroll into town (though maybe have a torch function on your phone when you come

Good sign posting to help find & easy check-in. Immaculate condition tailor built b&b lodge. Good size rooms & nice bathroom. Did i mention the awesome views?

Easy stroll into Kenmare with its great dining scene but you may want a torch function on your phone to use on the short cuts back at night.

Nicely presented breakfast. Strongly recommended

Loved this B&B. Wish we had a little more time here, but we arrived late and left just after breakfast. Room was spacious and beds were soft and comfortable. Bathroom was the nicest we've had in Ireland. Host Noreen was kind, friendly, and very helpful. Noreen's delicious homemade brown bread was my favorite of the trip.

Very good experience. 3 nights spent in this quiet place away from Kenmare. Noreen is very friendly, the breakfasts offered are very good. Impeccable, clean and comfortable rooms.
We will keep a very good memory of this place.

We spent three nights at Watersedge. Noreen was a wonderful innkeeper. Her breakfasts were excellent and the room had a lovely water view. Noreen gave us great advice about driving the Ring of Kerry. We had great dinners at The Coachman and Foley’s in the very nice town of Kenmare. So glad we choose Watersedge and Kenmare over staying in Killarney. We highly recommend this guesthouse.

Finding it slightly difficult to locate a b&b which was still open at the end of October, we were pleased to find that the owner was able to provide us with a room for the night. Noreen is obviously a busy lady with a young family, and while it would have been nice to sit down and have a chat over a cup of tea we understood that she had things to do and places to go. Our room was upstairs and faced out to a water view. It appeared that we were the only guests that evening so the place was very quiet; I'm unsure if noise from the main road itself might be a bit of an issue during the busy summer months but it wasn't a problem during our short stay. Noreen recommended a restaurant in Kenmare (which turned out to be ok but nothing remarkable) and as it was rather cold and wet by the time we finished dinner we didn't linger in town. The room was nice and warm, the bed was comfortable and the room, bed linen and bathroom were all clean and tidy. Overall it wasn't anything spectacular but it seemed good value for money, was conveniently located to the town if you have a car or like walking and best of all, it was available. We'd probably stay there again.

This house was in a lovely spot and Noreen who was a lovely hostess made you feel welcome.
However although we had a nice clean room, our towels in the en-suite were black and some did have bleach marks on them. The b & b's we stayed in always used 'white' towels, which I think is appropriate. This might seem a little picky to some people but I suppose that's what I expected.
Some of the reviews I have read through possibly thought it was better than I did.
I would also say I thought the star rating should have been 3 and not 4 star as we toured around Ireland staying in 4 star accommodation.
On a good note, the location was spot on; lovely and peaceful.
