Detailed Reviews
Wonderful Irish welcome in this friendly B&B. Maureen is a wonderful host, caring well for your needs. Nice room with a view on a park-like setting, spacious ensuite bathroom. Very quiet at night. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, Müsli & Porridge, Irish breakfast is freshly cooked. The best brown bread I have ever eaten. The house is very clean, with hand sanitizing readily available everywhere. Felt very safe.
A 15 min. walk from the town center, no need to take the car. Walkers are picked up at trail ends. Great tips for sights and activities on the Ring of Kerry and for the Beara peninsula. Highly recommended!

My wife and I spent two nights at the Golf Course View on a recent staycation in Kenmare. We had a wonderful experience there from the moment we entered the house to the time we left. Our host Maureen couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly We enjoyed our chats with her and she was full of helpful ideas as to where we should visit locally.. Her cooking was also top class and our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. To boot we had a great view out onto the golf course .It is a long time since we had stayed in a B&B but we will be back. A Great experience.

Maureen made us feel very at home in Kenmare with her cosy yet modern B&B. Excellent breakfast and spacious bedroom with en suite. About 7 minute walk into town and very accessible from all parts of the country. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

It was without question the best accommodation I have ever frequented.
Maureen is such a welcoming and friendly host.
I stayed in the double room with a balcony overlooking the golf course.
What an amazing view to wake up to every morning!
The house was spotless and the breakfast accommodates all tastes.

What a beautiful place to stay and room was beautiful and clean. Our host was fantastic, we had great chats over breakfast with her. We found out we had something in common "running". Definitely would stay here again. Area was good too close to everything.

When we arrived we were greeted by the owners daughter and she was very hospitable. The B&B and our room were perfect, very clean with a wonderful view of the golf course. The breakfast was excellent and the B&B is only a 10 minute walk to the center of Kenmare, a beautiful town. The owner, Maureen Harrington was very congenial and helped us find many places that we wanted to visit. Would definitely go back, wish we had more time this trip. This B&B was a very good value for the money.

As soon as you arrive Maureen makes you so welcome. The accommodation is lovely , spacious and clean. The breakfast was fab. Nothing was too much trouble. Maureen really looked after us. We stayed three nights . The house is within walking distance of Kenmare and If you are cycling or driving it is so easy to travel around the ring of Kerry and it is quite central to travel to other places too. Kenmare is a lovely place with loads of restaurants, bars and shops. It has a great vibe to it. There are lots of places to stay but they don't have a Lovely lady called Maureen and I don't think that you would get the home from home feeling as we did at Golf Course View
