This was the best B and B we stayed in by far during our three week stay in Ireland. The place is immaculate with breathtaking views of the mountains and water just out the door. Our host, Mary, was super nice. The room was large and very comfortable. Very quiet, but just a short walk to the heart of town.

One of the nicest B&B's we stayed in on our trip to Ireland. It's just outside of town - on the main road, look for curved walls and an archway - the name of the B&B will be on a sign on the side wall. Drive down the long driveway, turn left at the gate, and go straight. Parking is in front of the building. The B&B is pretty and immaculate both inside and out. Clean, modern decor. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator), and had all we needed - private bathroom, sitting area by a big picture window with a nice view of fields and mountains, and a kettle with teas and coffee. Wi-fi signal was good and there's a TV in the room. A sitting room downstairs has lots of material on local attractions. A bright and pretty breakfast room is at the back. Breakfast is from

This was by far the best B&B that we stayed in during our trip to Ireland. Mary was very welcoming and helpful. We felt like we were staying with our newest best friend. The B&B is located a short walk from the town of Kenmare, which is a great hopping off point for exploring the Beara Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Killarney National Park. Our room was spacious and clean, with an awesome view of the mountains. There were plenty of outlets in the room, some even with USB ports. The WiFi was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the power shower was amazing!!! Oh, and did I mention the breakfast? In addition to the full Irish, Mary provides several other cooked options, but always fresh fruit, already chopped, ready to mix with your yogurt and granola. And delicious

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, and we could not have been happier! The room was quiet, beautiful, super clean, and had a fantastic view. It’s a very convenient location, just about a 10 – 15min walk to all the restaurants and shopping in Kenmare. It was also a great base for our trips to the Ring of Beara and Killarney National Park. We loved Ashfield B&B and would definitely stay here again! Mary is such a delight, extremely helpful, and an excellent cook - her breakfasts were delicious.Thank you, Mary, for making our trip so wonderful!
