I am not going to even waste any more of my time on this person typing my experience. Avoid at all costs plenty of better options in Kenmare. Customer service is not in the equation at all for this business. I have never experienced anything like it in my life.

from the moment my wife and i arrived at this property we got the coldest welcome imaginable. It felt like we were not paying customers in any form. I can safely say I have never met anyway so rude in all my life. We were booked in for 2 nights and on the following morning after sleeping on what felt a bed of nails we were both looking to take a shower. My wife wanted to wash and condition her hair but when turning on the electric shower and without any adjustment to the temperature setting the shower would completely scolt you and in another 2 or 3 seconds freeze you. From my experience with showers the element was giving trouble. However my wife managed to get a quick wash by ducking in and out when the water was manageable to stand under. The host called to see if we needed the room serviced and I said its fine but can I show you the shower as there is a problem with it. She immediately became defensive saying none has ever had a problem with it before. I asked her into the room to show her which she refused to come in and said where do you think I will get an electrician now, very smartly. I had to go without a shower but after that we decided to cut our holiday short and not bother staying the 2nd night. The host returned and said it would be evening before an electrician would be available and said if you want to leave you can and I will refund you for 1 night. That was the most decent thing she had said since our introduction. We both delightedly packed our bags and left within 10 minutes. I have never met anyone so hasty and aggressive in such a role as managing a b & b. Honestly she would put a downer on anyones holiday so I will never darken this door again. I never leave reviews about places I have stayed but really had to leave one here, worst experience of my life.

We stayed in a gorgeous room with a feature stone wall and a wooden beamed ceiling. It was so cosy and quaint. Even though the weather wasn’t optimal, at night when the rain fell the loft was at its cosiest. The breakfast was amazing with so many options (we both had fries with fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, brown bread and white toast) and the hosts couldn’t have been kinder. They even showed me their little kittens. This has been our favourite place we’ve stayed so far. Couldn’t recommend more. We will be back!

The rooms are small, but creatively fitted to have all amenities. We did not feel very welcome by the host. Having arrived from a full day hiking in the Irish countryside we had some mud and asked to clean ourselves off before entering, but the host seemed to never have seen hikers arrive before... A bit odd considering it's a B&B on the Kerry Way. She was not unpolite, but certainly did not give a warm welcome. We arrived in the breakfast room 10 minutes early and were rushed off back to our rooms as if we were 5 year olds. She was equally cold to other guests in the morning. The breakfast was very good though!

Our room was small but comfy. The bathroom wasn't too tiny and you could actually move around in it. The only problem was that the light in the bathroom could only be switched on together with the ventilation. Which at night was causing a bit of trouble for the other person sleeping in bed. This was made worse by the fact that there was a little window at the top of the wall where the light would shine through and illuminate the whole room. Breakfast was nice and we had a lot of opportunities to chat with other guests and give travel tips to eachother. The closeness top the town centre enabled us to have a quick walk to several pubs and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and our late check in was absolutely no problem.
