We had booked through Explore Vacations and were very disappointed with our first experience in a B&B in Ireland, UNTIL we arrived at Oakfield the following night and the contrast couldn't have been greater. Monty and Marion, take a bow, you are the quintessential" Irish experience" and your hospitality is second to none. Our 2 night stay with you will...

My family and I only stayed one night at the Oakfield B&B in Kenmare in July 2015. From the minute we got there, Morty was very welcoming and friendly, telling us to take our time getting settled and that he'd serve coffee, tea and snacks for us whenever we were ready! We took him up on the offer, and as...

This is the place to stay if you'll be in the Kenmare area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the owners are so nice and helpful. We stayed here for three nights, and I would have been happy to stay with them for the entire week we were in Ireland. It was kind of sad when we left -...

The location is just minutes from Kemare, a lovely city, and has beautiful views out every window. You will see hills, water and mountains-and donkeys next door! The gardens are beautiful and the rooms are perfect. The best part of the stay is the hosts-Morty and Marian. Breakfast was yummy too. We will return to Ireland and would love to stay again...

We only got to stay here for two nights, but wish it could have been longer. The hosts were fabulous, so sweet and kind. We are vegans and they had soya milk for us. Our room was great, with a table and chairs in a window nook from which we had a lovely view. We would return here in a...

The Oakfield BnB: a beautiful house set atop a hill in what may rival as some of the most beautiful countryside in Ireland—the mountains rising in the distance, and Kenmare Bay skirting its way along this part of the Ring of Beara. Lovely kept grounds burst with summer flowers and shrubs. Across the way, ponies lazily hang about eating grass...

Lovely location outside of Kenmare. It is close to a water attraction for kids and a wonderful hiking trail in a private park. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and we relaxed there for two nights with our children.

One of the friendliest B & B's we enjoyed. The host Marion was ready with tips for our travel and made us feel like we were home. His family was delightful, especially his daughter who try to teach me some Irish. It was great fun, even if I can remember much except the word for table, sounds like board. The...

We stayed in 5 B&Bs while in Ireland and this, by far, was my favorite. The family running the B&B are so warm and friendly, they make you feel right at home. We were welcomed by a warm fire, soft couch, a cup of tea, cookies and lively talk. The room and bathroom were clean, nice size and quiet. Morty...

This B&B is a very nice place to stay while in the Kenmare area. The room we had was clean. The room was also quiet, which added for a goodnights rest. Furthermore, this B&B has free WiFi. Access to this B&B is very easy so you should have no problem finding this location with or without GPS. The B&B is...
