Una and her team made our recent stay a most enjoyable ,pleasant and safe experience. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful staff. This ethos of looking after and welcoming guests was evident throughout the hotel at reception,at breakfast ,in the bar etc. The food was excellent .The room was spotless. We were also provided with some excellent suggestions for sightseeing ,walks etc.which made our stay extra special. My interest in Brooklane was first triggered having met Una at the last Holiday Show pre covid .I was very impressed that day with her lovely approach and I certainly wasn't disappointed when I stayed there recently. Keep up the good work Una.

I had a busy year and looked forward to a break in Kenmare for the August Bank Holiday weekend. I booked one of the Superior Rooms in the 4* Hotel, as the brochure says "Sink into great big beds with soft fluffy pillows and enjoy the feeling of warm toes as your feet reach for the heated bathroom floors of your luxury accommodation" It sounds good, however the room was only average at best, I paid €470 for 2 nights The room was wheelchair accessible, the bathroom accommodating a low sink, not easy to shave, no vanity unit, and flush shower tray to allow wheelchair access. The bed was a double bed, with duvet cover, both had seen better days. Im 6'3", my feet were dangling over the end. It would have been better if there was water and tea/coffee facilities in the room. As for the bath robes and slippers, no where to be seen. The walls were bear, not a picture to be seen. Breakfast and dinner were lovely, with a great selection. However the orange juice was far from pure. No papers were available. Its not all bad, the staff were very friendly and its within walking distance of the town.

Beautiful modern hotel within 4 minutes walking of Kenmare town centre. Staff were friendly, engaging and helpful Spotlessly clean. Beds were truly superb. Good bar onsite where we also ate the 2nd night of our 2 night stay. Food was very good. We ate at No 35 a companion restaurant to the hotel and its food was exceptional. While the breakfast was very good they looked understaffed

Spent three lovely night at Brook Lane, large comfortable room, food is superb, from breakfast to dinner. Recommend chowder and home made brown bread for lunch. Dined at hotel every night, lovely outdoor area and great food, fish to dye for. Staff are always on hand to help or advise where best walks, trios are. Wish Una and her team best of luck in the weeks ahead with hospitality finally getting back in business. Wonderful place to stay

Myself and my mother stayed for 2 nights in Brook Lane Hotel. We had a wonderful stay. It is a family run, small hotel. From the minute we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by young Jack on reception. He couldn't be more helpful. We had a spacious bedroom with 2 double beds, a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. It was in the middle of the heatwave and they provided a fan in the bedroom which was very welcome. The bed was the nicest bed I ever slept in with both hard and soft pillows and lovely bedlinen. Proprietor Úna, gave us great advice on places to go, different beaches etc. The breakfast was delicious and great service and warm chats from Marie and Emer. Overall, it has a really relaxed, easygoing vibe with beautiful boutique hotel decor. It is approximately a 5 minute walk to Kenmare centre. Ask about the short cut! I would highly recommend Brook Lane Hotel and we will definitely be back. Thank you from Gráinne and Carmel. Clonmel. X
