Had a wonderful time. Hosts were very nice and made numerous helpful suggestions including local restaurants and sights. One that was most appreciated was the suggestion to avoid Ring of Kerry with its tour buses and to visit the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, the breakfast outstanding and the view of their farm and the...

We spent 8 wonderful days at Tara Farms - Cedar Lodge. What a lovely home! The house was large with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths and had all of the ammeneties imaginable. The living room was cozy with a fireplace thay we got a lot of use from since we were in Ireland during a cold spell. We even woke...

We loved our experience at Tara Farm, (a B&B) For starters, our host, Anne is thoughtful, helpful and funny. The room we occupied, as well as common areas are clean and comfortable. A variety of choices are offered for breakfast and with Nina at the stove (hob), you can't go wrong. The property is lovely too - it's a working...

This hotel was substandard. Based on everything I had read previously I was looking forward to the stay and being in the country. However, upon arrival we were greeted by the owner (but a different person ran the inn day to day). She put us in a bed with two twin beds (for me and my 6'7 husband). She said...

The location of Tara Farm is wonderful. Off the main road down a beautiful country road to a beautiful house overlooking the magnificent Ireland country side. We felt like we were looking at a postcard. Ann greeted us with a smile and a friendly welcome and wonderful suggestions for our 2 day stay in Kenmare. We had just finished a...

We stayed five days in Maybury Cottage in June, which is located on the Tara Farms property. Anne was a pleasure to work and always answered promptly when I had questions during booking. The cottage appears to be recently updated with new, modern appliances (cooktop, oven, large refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer). The kitchen was spacious...

We really enjoyed our stay at Maybury Cottage. The cottage was very spacious and well equipped with modern appliances including a washer and separate dryer. Everything was set up to be very homey and comfortable with a nice view out the back. Our hosts were always close by if you needed them and were very friendly and helpful. The cottage...

We stayed at Tara last night we had the room all the way upstairs and the view was unbelievable. Of course carrying the luggage all the way up was difficult but definitely worth the view. This morning we had a delicious breakfast and our hostess went above and beyond and hand wrote us directions to avoid a bike charity race...
