If only I had a magic wand.....this is waht I would do.... 1. Move Seanua nearer to either Kilgarvan or Kenmare as it is in the middle of nowhere. 2.Get rid of the slurry smell 3Have more breakfast options. 4.Owners be a little more friendly and helpful. If only......I had a magic wand.....

As a first time holiday in Ireland we specifically wanted a warm family environment which Seanua provided in spades. The family were a delight and so natural creating a home from home. They were helpful with travel ideas and eating places and we had a wonderful time relaxing away from hussle and bustle in a very informal atmosphere. We really...

We had an overall disappointing stay here. On arrival there was a smell of swerage or farmer's slurry, which was not a very nice experience. The room was fine but a bit girlie and overdone. The bathroom was small. Breakfast had not a lot of options. Could hear conversations going on down the hall, so a little soundproofing would not...

We were in "Seanua" for two nights we had one room with bathroom. The room was very nice, yellow walls, white furniture, big and comfortable bed. I woke up and heard swallows, they have their nests next to our window. All house is magical (wooden walls, old furnitures, pictures, photos, view from window) The most important part of this magic...

Read previous reviews and do not agree with them. seanua way out of town, and you would have to drive to pubs and restaurants. Room and house very old fashioned. Hostess a drama queen and so are kids, did not meet any male family members. Breakfast with limited options. Rooms paper thin and could hear conversations going on down the...

We stayed for two nights at Seanua at Easter. Lovely house in a fine position. Andy and Alison are great hosts, and their girls are delightful. The breakfasts are stunning with lots of options. Seanua is a mile outside Kenmare, but this is one of its attractions, as you can enjoy the evening in Kenmare, but return to a peaceful...

We stayed with Alison and Andy and their 3 daughters for two nights and had a marvellous time. The house is very comfortable with everything you need. The food is fantastic and you certainly wont go hungry and the wine flows. The 3 girls, aged 6 to 11 are very talented, singing and dancing, and kept us entertained. The polished wood...

This was our first holiday in Ireland and we suspect that any other will be a 'hard act to follow'. The scenary in this area is dramatic and the roads were fairly free of traffic, which was just as well on the peninsulars. Even so, we found ourselves wanting to stay around 'Seanua' because Andy and Alison were so hospitable...
