Very good car park on arrival, and all staff were friendly, of which I found to be particularly helpful when I required some urgent medical treatment at the the local doctor's surgery. The proprietor was sociable and had a genuine interest in making the stay a top experience for her guests - a 'people's' person and Irish hospitality as could...

We stayed twice during our trip here (second time because we liked it so much). The hospitality is better than in most 5-Star Hotels, rooms are big and tastefully decorated. Same goes for the breakfast room. Breakfast was a dream ! Big choice on highest Quality Level. But the biggest asset are the people. The owner is so wonderful, that...

Recently stayed for 1 night. Very comfortable, easy walk into the town and home later!! Bed was very comfortable and no sound heard from the adjoining rooms, but we were upstairs. Bathroom towels have seen better days, they are a little worn and frayed. Lovely breakfast next morning, made to our special requests.

After staying at some very nice bed and breakfast along the Kerry Way with my 3 teenage sons, The Lodge was an unexpected surprise. It felt luxurious with beautiful, spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. The entrance itself is very elegant, as well as the breakfast room with it´s large windows overlooking an amazing, well kept garden of flowers. The breakfast was...

There is little out of place in the Lodge and it possibly churlish to find fault in accommodation that is spotless and well furnished. Maybe it is unrealistic to expect a sense of welcome and warmth but this is certainly lacking. No open fire in the sitting room. Sound insulation not great - bathroom use all too easy to hear...

This is a lovely B&B that's in a good location to see the Ring of Kerry of Killarney National Park. The rooms are spacious with wonderful furnishings. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very warm and friendly. This feels more like a small hotel than a B&B. We had an excellent stay.

We had gone for a drive around the Beara Peninsula, and ended up in Kenmare by the early-evening. We both had the flu, and needed a place rest and recuperate. If you're heading to Kenmare in February, know that many of the places to stay are closed during weekdays. Thankfully The Lodge had a vacancy. The owner quickly fired up...

We loved our stay at The Lodge in Kenmare. The staff were very warm and friendly, particularly the owner, Rosemary, who also provided some great travel tips. The room was immaculate and comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

Rose and her staff were very welcoming and made our stay . Hotel is of a very high standard and would thoroughly recommend it . Very clean and spacious rooms with all facilities - wi-fi etc . Excellent location for the lovely town of Kenmare and the beautiful Kerry and West Cork areas.

This was a surprise to find a sort of Prairie style small hotel with elegant Victorian interior decor and furniture. We enjoyed our stay and they provided an excellent full Irish breakfast. Good location.
