We stayed in this lovely hotel on a short stay recently and I must congratulate all the staff on their excellent work all over the hotel. The cleanliness of the whole hotel was second to none ....from hand sanitizers to wipes on all levels of the hotel. The pool is a credit to the pool staff it was spotless and was so bright and airy. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff were polite and cheerful. In this time of gloom it was a pleasure to stay there.

Booked last minute. Second weekend after lock down lifted. The room was not the largest or most modern we have stayed in for the price range but was clean and well kept. The bathroom was functional except for the extractor fan which didn't work (room 520). The room was very warm due to the close moggy weather and in fairness reception provided an electric fan at no charge within minutes. We had lunch from the bar with a couple of drinks while sitting in the outside courtyard. Lunch menu was lovely with great attentive service. Dinner menu was a bit disappointing for such a hotel but what we received was well cooked. Restaurant staff were professional and warm. The morning breakfast was fantastic. A buffet setting with lots of fresh cold selection and a generous hot selection. With cereals and juices. We used the swimming pool /gym with the sauna and jacuzzi. Fantastic. In short Brilliant staff. Fantastic lunch and breakfast menus. Dinner chef needs to try harder. Menu poor for a hotel. As in lazy. Beef stroganoff was wet with bits of over cooked cut off ends of beef. Generally worth the visit. If you have kids there is a lovely play garden Kids activities table and treasure hunt

The family room for 2A n 3 C was not big enough... we had to leave the door open for air... as did other occupants. The pull out bed was so uncomfortable. You couldn't swing a cat in the room it was so small. For a first family holiday it was soooooo disappointing. Family club not available 2and night and when I rung before arrival was told to leave it until we arrived. When I emailed a complaint after they were very up them selves and more or less said tough. They weren't wrong yet what they offered wasn't acceptable . Very disappointing. They suggested chalets .but we wanted hotel experience. They shouldn't offer family hotel package that's not actually suitable to 2A and 3C ....full stop.... .

This is a great hotel at a great price. Went back in October as they were doing special deals but had to leave when level 3 was implemented. Breakfast was tasty and all staff wearing masks... Although that was across the board on my visit to Kerry This is a great little hotel within walking distance to Kenmare -3 mins via a cute lane. Would love them to change the reception area
