We had a little difficulty finding the place as it is a short drive out of town. However, once there all was perfect. Our room was spacious and quiet, everything spotless. I enjoyed the books in the room as several were by my favorite authors. The view is great as was the food. Couldn't have asked for better.

What a wonderful place to stay. A warm welcome from Tony and Joyce and great accommodation and food. Kenmare again, is a warm friendly place with plenty of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay with the Hughes. This is really a 5 star B&B. Beautiful place, great location, great breakfast. Good tips on local hiking from the hosts: visit the nearby park with the waterfall. Right outside the town of Kenmare

Mine was the first name in Shaminir`s guest book some 12 years ago and my several stays there since have been just as unique and enjoyable . Never mind the beautiful views of the house and from the house as nice views surround the entire area ...... more to the point is the warm reception from Joyce and the witty...

My mother and I recently stayed in Kenmare - as we were planning to visit the Ring of Kerry the following morning. After a long day, we arrived late and Tony and Joyce provided us with directions to a wonderful restaurant (just a few minutes drive up the street - and still serving dinner). Our first floor accommodations (didn't have...

we are four German travellers who visited Shaminir on our way to the Ring of Kerry. We have seen the recommendation of the American guy and want to write a line. The owners are really helpful and offer service by heart. But if guests help themselves by drinking expensive single malts without asking... Hospitality is one thing. Stealing is the...

This little B&B is very nice and with its view over to the sea and the cliffs is just stunning. Joyce has welcomed us very friendly and after showing the room we were asked for a cup of coffee or tea which we trunk on the balcony. The B&B is good located to see all the interesting stuff, if you...

This was our first trip to Europe, and we were very fortunate to have chosen Ireland and a stay at Shaminir. Shaminir had been recommended by friends here in NJ, but after reading a couple of negative reviews on Tripadvisor we were skeptical about our stay there. The accomodations, cleanliness, views and hosts were far superior to any of the...

We only spent one night here, but wished we could have stayed longer. We had planned to be in Dingle the next night or we would have spent another day. The room we had on the main level was AWESOME !! The views of the water and island below were spectacular and the gardens surrounding the property were beautiful. The...
