We had a gorgeous view of the harbour and because it's situated right in the town of Dingle, we could leave our car outside with it's free parking and wander around to the various shops and restaurants.
If you are travelling to Dingle, you must stay at the Quayside B&B. The hosts are incredible, the location is right in the center of everything in Dingle, the room was clean, and the breakfast was great. My only...
Centrally located, excellent standard of accommodation.. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, check in was easy. Complimentary water, tea/coffee in rooms. Everywhere is within walking distance.. stayed 2...
Ideal location at such an affordable price. The rooms were modern and had the comfiest beds I had ever been in. The place was clean and fresh. Although it was so central there was no noise from the street below...
lovely clean b&b wonderful breakfast room was quite small and bathroom was very small but was adequate. not really located in castlegregory. wonderful location with easy walk to the beach. would recommend to others.
Our 3-generation family of 5 plus dog had a lovely two night stay here. Although it's near the road, the house is blissfully quiet apart from the pounding of the surf on the nearby beach, and, unlike in so many modern houses the internal sound insulation is excellent. Sea view from the twin bedroom and the landing where you can make tea and sit to admire the scenery. We had pleasant conversations with the hostess who had thought of so many extras - binoculars for birdwatching or admiring the landscape, amazing range of teas, home baking in generous quantities, face flannels provided (I hate carrying wet flannels around!), an elegantly laid table with decoratively folded cotton napkins and fine china. Breakfast was excellent - delicious fruit salad, home made scones, fresh coffee etc. An endless deserted beach is five minutes walk away and a dog-friendly place to stay was a real bonus. Very highly recommended…
This house has a nice location near Fermoyle Beach and is generally nice and clean. You can make yourself a variety of teas throughout the day, offered on the first floor. The rooms were nice and clean, although we had some crawling insect in our bathroom when we left. Mercedes was a somewhat reserved host though, whom you don’t see a lot - something that we found a bit strange, having had such nice, open and friendly hosts during our stay in Ireland before. Anyway the breakfast offered was really nice: there was a variety of muesli with yogurt and milk and a huge, yummy fruit salad and soda bread with jam! Apart from that Mercedes prepared - on choice - either an Irish breakfast with egg, sausages and bacon or scrambled eggs with salmon. One more thing to mention for people hiking the Dingle Way: this B&B is NOT in Castlegregory (as we thought), not even near Castlegregory, as it is located at the very beginning of Fermoyle Beach (coming from Cloghane), so that we had only a very short walk that day, but an even longer walk the following day… As I said, the location is nice and perfect for spending a day at the beach, but definitely one should consider the location when hiking.…
We had booked and stayed two nights. It was comfortable and there was nothing wrong but there was no spark. Mercedes is a lady of few words and that may suit some guests. A local road lined with a profusion of wild flowers leads (0,5 mile) to Fermoyle Beach for a pre-breakfast walk.
