My husband and I stayed for one night at this lovely Bed and Breakfast. We booked a room at the last minute (when we realized how far we were going to have to drive to get to Dingle Peninsula if we stayed in our previous location) and so we were a little worried that there might be something wrong with it since it was available during high season. The room was very comfortable, had a great bathroom, a nice view, and a wonderfully comfortable bed (which was nice as our last place had a bad bed) and Annette was a fabulous host. The breakfast options were very nice and we loved what we ordered (Smoked Salmon and Eggs). Last her breakfast staff was really friendly like you were visiting a friend's home. We also felt it was a good value. We loved it and wished we had spent more time there. Highly recommend.…
My son and I had separate rooms for our three night stay - we wish we could have stayed longer. The Shores has an excellent location facing the Atlantic as it enters Brandon Bay (famed for the quality of its surfing). We could not have had a warmer welcome from owner, Annette, whose staff are well trained and always helpful. Our rooms were first class - everything exudes quality from the beds, the furnishing and the high spec en-suite bathroom. But all this is more than equalled by the breakfast which is outstanding not only in its quality but also in the way it is served in a dining room which is beautifully furnished. Over the years, I've stayed in a variety of accommodation on the Dingle Peninsular but The Shores outranks them all by a mile. I will be returning for sure.
Stayed here for a week in June 2022. Absolutely lovely. The home is beautifully appointed, the staff and owner are warm and inviting. They are helpful when looking for local treasures. The breakfast is beyond amazing and they cater to your every desire. The beds are so comfortable with luxurious linens. One can not help to have a restful night….with open windows the Atlantic can be heard crashing on the shores and the cows/ sheep dotting the landscape. Parking on site Internet throughout the facility Lovely gardens front and back
Every detail is considered by the lovely host Annette and her team. The bedroom was luxurious with an amazing seaview and the breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Ideally located to experience the Dingle peninsula and fabulous scenery around Slea Head. We will be back. Thank you
We spent 1 night here as we were visiting the Dingel Peninsula, and it was a Wonderful experience! We stayed in the Apartment, that provided us a full kitchen, very comfortable bed, and so much more! The staff was wonderful and made us feel so very welcome! Breakfast was amazing! We would definitely return!!
Let me start with the location, you can see the ocean from across the road, see sheep and cows and are graced with vast green pastures as the eye can see. The house itself is absolutely perfectly appointed. Annette, the owner and host didn't leave a single detail out. From our room we were able to see the sunrise and set. The bedding was fantastic. The room had tea, still water, and sweet bread waiting for us. As for the breakfast...FANTASTIC! Annette cooks the breakfast herself and once again doesn't leave any detail out. The breakfast room is that of a castle, complete with a chandelier and Irish music playing in the background. Josie, on Annette's breakfast team is delight and makes sure that you are fed properly before heading out for the day. The gardens are gorgeous and so very peaceful. Honestly, there is pages I could write about this place as it was our favorite location on our five city tour of Republic of Ireland. Thank you Annette for being such a gracious host!!!…
This is a five star experience. Luxurious guesthouse with very friendly owners, fabulous breakfast, great location with beach, Conor pass, Brandon and Castlegregory nearby. Highly recommend. Couldn't fault anything. O'Connors pub nearby was great. Handy to Dingle too.
The only thing better than the views is the friendliness of Annette and the staff! Excellent views and the rooms are pristine. Lots of spots to sit outside and relax in the garden as well which was really appreciated after a long hike! Prime location for exploring the Dingle peninsula, can't rate highly enough.
Very warm and welcoming place to stay. The hostess was a lovely lady that made us feel very at home and comfortable in the b and b. Great views of the beach and lovely room. Breakfast was excellent and is close restaurants in the village.
My husband, 2 adult children and I just spent 4 really wonderful nights at this gorgeous guesthouse with amazing views out over Brandon Bay. A gorgeous welcome by Annette the owner, gorgeous bed rooms with great views, and homemade fruit cake in our room for us. The breakfasts were so delicious and so beautifully presented. We were so well looked after and we would love to stay again. 5 star plus plus!! Thank you Annette and all your team Hilary, Stuart, Andrew and Rachel xx
