This B&B is a true gem. The location and view from the house is amazing. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. The hosts are incredibly welcoming. Noreen made us feel at home here. She gave us wonderful advice about touring and driving around the peninsula. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here—it was truly wonderful!
Beautiful location with stunning views of the beach and surrounding area. Room and ensuite were spotless clean with comfortable bed and extra blanket provided. Breakfast was freshly cooked full irish with fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal also available as well as a selection of teas or freshly made coffee (which personally really impressed!). Noreen and Dermot, the hosts, were so accommodating, friendly and welcoming, they even filled up my flask for the beach. Overall lovely stay and would definitely recommend this B&B.
This was the best b &b we stayed in. The bedrooms were spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The owners noreen & Dermot were the nicest, friendliest, helpful people we met.they made us feel so comfortable in their home .not to forget the delicious brown Bread baked fresh every morning by noreen. It was the best we ever had.we are booked to go visit again next year and will be bringing friends to show them how wonderful fort farm is. We can't wait.
Quiet location above a great beach. Spacious room with splendid views. Breakfast (full irish) was delicious. Noreen and her husband also offered spontaneous and desperately needed help in the *beach incident*.God bless them for that.
We found this B&B by chance and were very lucky to have done so. Every morning somebody actually said "....it's like a little piece of heaven..." due to the fabulous views from the conservatory over the fields to the beach. Wonderful hosts, lovely breakfasts, extremely comfortable & modern bedrooms. We would highly recommend this, and would not hesitate to go back. Gorgeous!!
This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this house and we'll be back again. That should tell you how good it is. We love the huge house, It has all we need for our 2 week family holiday, a home from home. The owners are so lovely, welcoming and kind.It is set in a stunning location with mountains at the back and Goulane strand just a short stroll from the front. It's so peaceful and tranquil, a great place to use as a base to explore the whole Dingle peninsula. Castlegregory village is a short drive away with many shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a pub in the next village of Stradbally. The house is self catering, the towels and bedding are supplied.
We stayed here after a friend's wedding and we're blown away by the views. The beach is a five-minute walk away. Noreen and Dermot were very warm and welcoming hosts. Our room was perfect and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend a stay here!
We had a very warm and cozy stay at Lynch's Fort Farmhouse. Our host and hostess are retired but went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay. The breakfast was hot and delicious and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. The view of the ocean from the sitting room is peaceful and dramatic at the same time. There are places to eat lunch and dinner just a few minutes away and the sand beach is a nice walk away from the B&B.
The owners of this B and B are the most kindly and welcoming people. In addition to being very reasonably priced the rooms were tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless. The breakfast was delicious. The mountains are directl behind the farmhouse which I absolutely loved especially because of the beautiful fresh air that comes down from them and in the window which I like to keep open. I never had such a good nights sleep in any hotel. Very conveniently located near to Castlegregory (5 mins drive) where you will find the Old Ship restaurant and Barry's Village Bistro served us the most delicious food and very reasonably priced as well. The visit to Glentaheenassig forest ( I have no doubt that this is not the proper name but unfortunately I cant remember what it was!) with it's boardwalk around the lake in the upper parts of the mountain wasMagical. As for myself I will definitely be making a return visit.…
I was visiting friends in Castlegregory and this B&B was recommended to me. It was just lovely, the rooms were bright and airy and the views were actually unbelievable, looking out over the sea. The people that owned the B&B were really nice and helpful. I could not recommend this B&B more. Next time Im in Castlegregory I will dfinitely be staying there....
