We travelled as a group of 13 fishermen. We arrived on the Friday afternoon and stayed until the Monday morning. We had negotiated a deal to include food as well as lodging. The food was good, plenty of it and what a service! We had a great weekend and I really enjoyed the way we just had to show t...

At first, me and my friends only booked the hostel to stay overnight. We arrived very late, and as it was my birthday, the host and another guest joined us for a whiskey toast with cake. Very lovely people! The landscape around is amazing. From the rooms on the top floor, you can actually climb out the window and contemplate...

I have a fair bit of experience of accommodations on my travels in Ireland over many years. The location is very nice with lovely views over the lough. The bed was very comfortable and the room nicely decorated. The living areas were very comfortable, well appointed and there is a lot of space. Craig is very friendly and can't do enough...

I stayed here for a night en route to Galway and while I knew it was going to be cheap and cheerful, my only real complaint is the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on! The facilities are good if dated but the place is very cheap and you pay for what you get. There is...

This place is great! I was brought here on my stag party. What a weekend, staff were tops, food was lovely (very hangover friendly) and there was an disused pub next door we had full access to (which we made full use of. ) Thank you so so much for one of the most memorable weekends of my life, we...

We have been to Ireland a few times now and just can’t get enough of this beautiful country and countryside views. We make it a point to stay at the “Arrowrock Lodge” hostel every time we come out. The views from the Lodge of “Lough (Lake) Arrow” are simply amazing, and it’s just a short walk down a very picturesque...

we stayed here to attend a wedding in September and for the price the room was ok. The shower was very small however there was plenty of room in the bathroom for both me and my other half to get ready in the morning. I agree with the previous poster that the communal areas are a little tired and it...

The welcome of the owner, Craig, was really warm and friendly. The room was good and we had a great view of the lake from room 1. The place is very large and we found the communal areas to be a bit run down, and with so few people about when we were (early-mid Sept) it was slightly eerie. For...
