During my 6 weeks in Borneo, I stayed 1 week in Bario and nearby and am so glad I did! I picked Jungle Blues, and Stephen + Tine were very quick in replying and they even picked me up from the airport. I enjoyed Bario, its people and environment very much. Already felt part of the community going to the...

I have a good time staying at The Jungle Blues Dream Art Gallery & Homestay. The location is quite near to the other village. You can walk to the other villages or cycle. THe host Mr. Stephen & Mdm. Tine is very helpful in taking care of me and my friend. A pleasant 3 days 2 nights staying here.

Spent a 4D3N for this adventure with Jungle Blues Dream as our base. We were met upon our arrival at Bario Airport by Stephen, our homestay host. Stephen is an accomplished artist and have many of his paintings ordered all over the world. Both Stephen & his wife Tine are very hospitable and made sure all our needs were taken...

I was here for over 5 years ago but I still remember how friendly the host couple were. They took care of me and I will never forget this stay. I was the only visitor so it felt like being part of their family.. :)

We were exiting and looking forward having a relaxed time over here. But... Times are changing. Also in Bario When we arrived at Bario Tine...

This is a great place to stay! Stephen is an accomplished artist, wonderful cook and a gentle, humble host who along with his friendly, laid back wife Tine offer a comfortable homestay in Bario. There's plenty of sightseeing/travel/trekking advice on offer...if something is happening in Bario you will be part of it...and you will receive great advice no matter how...

We stayed at Jungle Blues Dream Art Gallery & Homestay (JBD) on the first and last night of our 4D3N stay in Bario. Only because we'd trekked to Pa Lungan on Day 2. (A) The Place JBD has an amazing view of the mountain range. We could sit and watch eaglets fly back to their nests at dusk, and fly...

Comfortable, clean homestay in bario. Will soon have 24h electricity! Friendly, knowledgeable owners who can help with every aspect of the stay. We climbed prayer mountain, did a full day of kayaking (good fun) and feasted on incredible breakfasts and delicious dinners with amazing home grown pineapples, passion fruits and local wild boar. We also did the 2 day jungle...

“It's a longhouse so what goes on in the room next door is likely to be audible. If your neighbour is a snorer, sleep deprivation could be on the cards. So - bring earplugs.”
