stylish and clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom great. There is a little bit of an outside area for each of the rooms you can enjoy privately. The facilities were amazing, the pool area and lake area were beautiful. The staff were especially good, they were courteous and friendly at all times. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Would recommend highly.

Love the location! The hotel is very clean. The beds are comfortable and spacious. The staff are friendly. Honestly the hotel who have a manager like Mr. Susil should be evaluated in very high score , because he can make the solutions for any problems in short time and quickly and it will be satisfied.

Enjoyed the holiday with my friends to the maximum. Standard of the rooms are much more than the expectation. Scenic beauty around is fantastic. Highly appreciate the hospitality extended by the Manager Susil. Srilankan cuisine is excellent. Ideal place for relaxation.

We are two families traveling through Sri-Lanka. When coming to the Galle & Unawatuna area we looked for a place close enough to the beaches and will still provide a relaxed atmosphere for the kids and us as a family. That’s exactly what we found… a very serene place just by the lake (recently built), with the best staff. You can ask for Laal - he is vey nice and the staff was highly responsive. Great pool, and 10 minutes with a Tuktuk or a Can to the great beaches of the area. Clean rooms, nice environment… Bottom line - we recommend!! Enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay at Chari Lake. The location is fantastic and the rooms are extremely spacious and very clean. The staff took care of us very well and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They also prepared us delicious home cooked meals. We would highly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.

We stayed at Chari Lake in April. It was a great holiday. Praveen was very helpful from the time we were booking the hotel. This is an amazing place. We really enjoyed our stay. Spacious Rooms facing Madhu Ganga with all modern facilities. Very clean and well maintained Resort. The Chef Nimal’s food was excellent. They also arranged a Boat Ride in Madu Ganga, which all us really enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and supportive. We received an excellent service from Indralal, Gihan and Silva. We will definitely visit this place again.

We had our family gathering and stayed at Chari Lake Hotel for 3 days . Must tell it’s was one of the best family Sinhala new year holiday we had. Praveen was very helpful from the time we made the reservation. And from the time we arrived Gihan and all other staff was very friendly and helpful. Our older sister is in a wheel chair and they had all facilities to make her fell comfortable. All of them went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and gave us a service beyond our expectation. Sinhala new year celebration ritual were organized by the staff and we all enjoyed it greatly. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Atmosphere was great and relaxing. Thank you Praveen, Gihan, Lal and all other staff for making sure that we had a great holiday.

It's like finding a treasure in Koggala. Ideal place to get away from Colombo to relax and enjoy with your friends and family. Beautifully landscaped hotel bordering the Koggala lake that has a breathtaking view and a pool so inviting you may not want to leave. Lovely spacious rooms with all modern facilities. Tasty local cuisine. We were served a 4 course dinner. The starter soup and the desert was delicious but there was no choice of meats or fish given for the main course. Overall the food is excellent. Very friendly courteous obliging staff. We had an enjoyable relaxed stay.

An elegant place facing the Koggala lake. We had an amazing stay for 3 days with my family there. VERY RELAXING ENVIRONMENT. The staff is very friendly. They have clean & spacious rooms, a well-maintained swimming pool & a beautiful garden! The food is good as well. The morning view is absolutely beautiful. There are lots of birds in the early morning! You can also see some local fishing boats leaving to fish at the dawn. If you want to go for a boat ride in Koggala lake, the hotel would arrange it for you once you request it. They charge somewhere around Rs. 5000 for the boat. The boat ride is around 3 hours. They would take you to some small islands in the lake. One of the main livelihoods of these islanders is Cinnamon. You'll get a chance to see how they extract cinnamon bark. You can also buy good quality cinnamon products there. They'd also take you to a fish therapy center. You have to pay around Rs. 400-500 extra per person for that. The swimming pool at the hotel is not very deep, somewhere around 4ft - 5ft. For breakfast, they'd arrange an outdoor breakfast facing the Koggala lake. No spa at the hotel. It is a really beautiful place with quality service. One of the best spots to get away from our busy lives and relax!…

The resort is simply elegant. With the nature wrapped around, overseeing the koggala lake, it has one of the breathtaking sceneries. Most importantly, the place is relaxing, calming and soothening. With friendly staff, comfy rooms and the deal breaker "the swimming pool" This is the best spot for a healing and relaxing trip
