It was a awesome holiday that we spent in limecabanas-srilanka.the place was very calm and cozy.we really felt like a home.the land lady and brother of the owner was very kind and very hopitable.the beach is just onw minute away from the cabanas.to the train station,bus station and to the main road only two minutes as well.food was amazing.i would like to go back again to this amazing place and i would like to recommend to everyone.best of luck.

The 'Lime Cabanas' is THE alternative for staying near the beach and near Galle. Very nice rooms, quiet place,friendly people and a good price. You can go and stay at the beaches in one of the resorts ( some of them ask some money for it).

I spent 2 nights there with my family. It's a perfect hideaway with a beautiful garden and the owners' hospitality is just GREAT. You can really chill out. You can choose between local and Western food. Go for the local. It's delicious;) Highly recommend the place!!!

Wonderful quite place for couples and families. Nice houses in the beautiful garden very closed to the beach. Very tasty local food. And such a clean compfortible rooms. Hopefuly we will be back next year.

Beautiful new cabanas in an amazing countryside! They are many exotic trees there - mango, papaya, mahogany, coconut palm, orange, lime etc., a small herbal garden and pond with fish in the center of the garden. It is close to the beach in a calm place but not so far from some shops. People are very friendly, traditional food is delicious. And I love their good Ceylon tea! I drank lots of teapots here ;). The room was clean, with beautiful pictures and with a terrace for relaxation, reading, dreaming ...
